■ Fisnar’s F4000 Advance series
Fisnar’s F4000 Advance series of benchtop dispensing robots
Fisnar’s new robotics collection signifi-cantly upgrades Fisnar’s existing F4000N range with enhanced product features and the addition of three completely new models, plus multiple size variations to accommodate customers’ diverse spec-trum of dispensing requirements.
The core function of all F4000 Advance benchtop dispensing robots is to ensure precise fluid placement and positioning. When configured with a syringe, cartridge or valve system, F4000 Advance robots achieve the highest level of positional accuracy and repeatability. Additional features include a USB port for data transfer and back-up, program selector switch and fluid purge button.
The F4000 Advance supporting software is user friendly and enables the creation of complex dispensing routines - such as dots, lines, circles, arcs and fills – that can be set up and operational using the included teach pendant. Fisnar’s proprietary programming software is Microsoft Windows based and gives users the opportunity to import DXF files into the robot program, allowing dispense lines or dots to be quickly created from the imported CAD data in the software. This reduces programming time for com-plex dispense patterns, or when there is a high number of dispense positions.
The F4000 Advance robot platform has been designed to accommodate a range of bolt-on robot accessories, easily attached to its modular connectivity back-panel. Robot accessories are excellent tools for improving efficiency even further and options include input/output (I/O) expan-sion module, auxiliary rotation axis, CCD Camera vision system, remote operation box, height sensor, tip alignment module and a tip adjustment kit.

■ Yamaha Motor’s Premium Printer YSP10
Yamaha Motor Launches New Premium Printer YSP10
Yamaha Motor Europe announces that it will launch the new premium printer YSP10 on May 1, 2019. This high-end solder paste printer is compatible with full automation of changeover work and delivers the world’s fastest level tact time. The YSP10 is the successor to the YSP,
a high-end printer which featured 3S heads and stencil suction mechanism as standard equipment. The YSP10 has been newly designed and developed from the ground up in order to enable full auto-mation of production changeover work, which occupies the most working hours in printing processes. In addition to existing automatic program changeover and Print Stability Control (PSC) systems, full auto-mation of changeover work is achieved by including the new automatic push-up pin exchange, automatic stencil replacement, and automatic solder transfer functions (all of which are optional). In addition, the cycle time (including stencil cleaning) has been improved by 20% compared to previous models. Other enhancements include compatibility with a wider range of circuit board sizes and the new cleaner head achieving a significant reduction in cleaning paper consumption volume.

Introducing innovative lead-free cored solder wire
ANA TRADING has introduced a solder wire manufactured by Nihon Almit., Co Ltd. that can triple the lifetime of soldering-iron tips, saving replacement costs and reducing down-time to raise productivity against standard lead-free alloys. Combined with high soldering temperatures, the high tin content of ordinary lead-free solders accelerates iron (Fe)-leaching from hand-soldering or robotic-soldering tips. Trials show that replacement rates can be 300 percent higher compared to soldering with market standard lead-free solder alloys, raising costs and incurring unwanted down-time.
