Wow! What an amazing podcast. Today we sat with Charity Ruiz, a good friend of mine and someone who endured a huge loss when the Tubbs Fire of 2017 ravaged Sonoma County. The Tubbs Fire remains one of the most destructive wildfires in California history, only to be surpassed by the Camp fire the next year. We lost nearly 5,600 structures in just a matter of a few hours, and Charity’s home was one of them. At the time Charity was 9 months pregnant, her due date just a few days away. Because of the severity of the fire, and how quickly it overtook her neighborhood, Charity had to ride a bicycle out of the fire with her two little girls in the back carriage. This is Charity's glory revealed story, and it's incredible.
