as we read through matthew 9:18-22 we see the depth of Gods grace over His people. one glimpse of for this woman’s case one touch changes her forever. it healed her. this same love is what God has over you. His grace washes us completely.

numbers 22 shows Jesus as the Path, Protector, & Provider. the donkey was struck in this story for him to see God & His goodness. while Jesus was struck for us to receive Him & His goodness. He is the narrow path so we must walk His ways.

numbers 2 provides a depiction of a cross. the quite literally made their lives the cross. (look up picture of camps around tabernacle of moses). we must make our lives on the foundation of the cross. understand that He is the way, the truth, and the life, let’s look to Him in all things.

amos 4 shows us the importance of many things. the main thing we see is the fullness of having a genuine heart posture towards the Lord. amos shows us that our sacrifices are meaningless if they do not have full intention of being for God & God alone.

numbers 20:1-11 show how thirsty & tired the Israelites truly are. they are drained & soon to lose faith. but God shows no matter the years of suffering they have the eternity He has set forth for us is greater. that His love gives us water & rest.

luke 22 & john 19: the weight of your sin held Him there but the weight of His love brought Him there.

Hosea 2 & 4. the book of hosea is this poetic book of the unrighteousness & sinfulness of ephraim or northern israel. as we dive into hosea 2 & 4 we see that in the midsts of their unfaithful ways God shows His deep love & grace. the same love He shows us. a love so deep it washes every piece of dirt (sin) off of us. His love is unfailing.

(July 17th 2021) isaiah 43. the passage i read moments after i got saved two years ago today. we are called HIS. a lot of times it’s so easy to forget this as we go through trials but God called us His & has redeemed us before anything else. before the waters or fires He has redeemed us. we are His. He saved us.

Hebrews 9 shows Christ’s love in action. the sacrifice He did for us & the blood He shed for us. it is easy to say the word love but not show it. Christ showed love more than He said the words. will you show love or just say the word love?

Ecclesiastes 4 speaks life into understanding selfishness & the desires of our hearts. we see the scripture talk about friends & what the true value/purpose of they are. they’re for Christ & should be Christ centered if not it is vanity. a lot of us live comfortable under the sun but don’t want to truly live for The Son. what is your motives for that friendship? is it for Christ?
