According to the FAA those of us that fly drones are all Aviators I take a little offense to that as being and actual Aviator takes a lot of hard work and skill.. Its not to hard to fly an almost autonomous drone. So it was bit tongue in cheek when they announced the mandatory registration of millions of toy drones starting at .55 pounds up to more commercial variants at 50 pounds.. All I can say is big brother is invoking control on the hobbyist drone market unlike the model airplane market.
