In the last 24 hours, 12” of new snow fell in the Bridger Range, 5-7” near Big Sky and Cooke City, and 3-4” near West Yellowstone. The heaviest snowfall tapered off around noon yesterday. Winds have been strong out of the west, consistently 20-30 mph with gusts of 50-60 mph. Mountain temperatures are in the single digits F in the northern areas and Cooke City with temperatures around 20 degrees near West Yellowstone. High temperatures will be teens to low 20s F. Westerly winds will back off slightly to 15-20 mph with gusts of 30 mph.

Snowfall today will be heaviest in Cooke City. With another pulse of snow tonight, expect around a foot of fresh in Cooke City and 6-10” elsewhere by tomorrow morning.

There are 16” of new snow in the Bridger Range, 4-7” in Hyalite, the Lionhead area, and near Big Sky, and 3” near Cooke City and in the Taylor Fork. Winds are west and northwest at 15-20 mph with gusts of 30-40. Temperatures are in the single digits and teens F. High temperatures will be in the teens and low 20s F. Winds will be 15-20 mph with gusts into the 30s out of the west and southwest. 

Snowfall will continue today. By tomorrow morning, 3-5” will accumulate around West Yellowstone, with 5-10” around Big Sky, Bozeman, and Cooke City.

This morning mountain temperatures are in the upper-20s to 30 F and the wind is blowing 15-20 mph from the southwest. Today, high temperatures will be in the upper-20s to 40 F with winds increasing from the southwest to 20-30 mph. Snow returns tonight and the mountains will receive 2-4” of new snow by morning.

Mountain temperatures this morning range from the mid-teens to mid-20s F with 15-20 mph winds blowing from the south to west. Today, temperatures will peak in the mid-30s to low 40s F with 10-15 mph winds from the south to southwest. Snow and colder temperatures will return mid-week.

Mountain temperatures are in the single digits to low teens F with 15-25 mph winds from the southwest and there is 1" of new snow in the mountains around West Yellowstone.

Today, temperatures will be in the upper teens to mid-20s F. West Yellowstone will receive 5-7" of new snow and Cooke City will receive an inch. The rest of the advisory area will get the associated 15-25 mph winds from the south to southwest. Snow will move north Friday night into Saturday.

Mountain temperatures are in the single digits F with 5-15 mph wind shifting from the east to southwest and there is no new snow. Today, temperatures will reach the teens F with wind from the southeast to southwest blowing 5-15 mph. Light snow tonight will provide an inch to West Yellowstone and Cooke City by morning. Continuing snow tomorrow will favor the mountains around West Yellowstone before filling in to the north later in the week.

There was no new snow in the last 24-hours except an inch of pixie dust in the Lionhead Range. Temperatures are in the single digits F and winds are 5-10 mph from the southwest to southeast. Today, high temperatures will be in the upper teens to 20 F, winds will be 5-10 mph from the southeast and our next chance for snow will be Wednesday.

There was no new snow in the last 24-hours, temperatures are in the single digits to 20 F and the wind is blowing 15-25 mph from the southwest to northwest. Skies today will be partly cloudy, temperatures will be in the 20s F, and the wind will be 15-25 mph from the west to southwest. The next snowstorm arrives tonight and there will be a trace to 1” of snow by morning.

An additional 1 to 3” of snow in the mountains fell yesterday before the storm ended. This morning, temperatures are in the single digits F and the wind is blowing 5-15 mph from the west to northeast. Skies will clear through the day with temperatures reaching the low 20s F and the wind will shift to the southwest and increase to 10-20 mph in the afternoon. The next chance for snow will be Thursday into Friday.

Bozeman’s mountains received 1” of new snow in the last 24 hours. Cooke City, Big Sky and West Yellowstone received 2-5” of snow with the Taylor Fork coming out on top. Winds in the Southern Madison and Gallatin Ranges through the Bridger Range are blowing 20-30 mph from the west to southwest. Winds in West Yellowstone and Cooke City are 5-10 mph from the southwest. Mountain temperatures are in the 30s F in the northern ranges and 20s F in the southern ranges.

Today, winds will be 30-40 mph in the northern ranges and 20-30 mph in the southern ranges from the southwest. Freezing levels start the day at 5000’ near West Yellowstone and 7000’ in the Bridger Range before dropping this afternoon. The mountains near Bozeman and Big Sky will get 1-3” of snow, 3-4” in West Yellowstone and 4-6” in Cooke City by morning.
