Tonight, I am reading a story that may give you a chill. It's a Japanese folktale that's been told a long time ago in one region of where Tokyo is today. The title is Yukionna, which literally means snow woman in Japanese.

While it has been told as a spooky story among people back in the day, The author, Lafcadio Hearn, known as Koizuni Yakumo in Japan, has written the story beautifully.

The tale of Bunjil, the Great Eagle teaches us human beings a lot. And yet, I have to mention that as a person who was not born in Kulin tribes nor Australian land, I do not represent any of them. So my story tonight is created to respectfully collect the key essence of the story and lessons.

If you ever wonder about Aboriginal culture, I recommend you reaching out to the elders, academia, and so on.
