  • Tale#4 The Emperor’s New Clothes

    Hello, fellow sleepy heads!

In this episode, I'd like to read "The Emperor's New Clothes" from Denmark! As you may know, Hans Christian Andersen wrote many stories called Andersen's Fairy Tales.
I found the way he shows both the good and bad essence of human beings to be quite unique. It was published in 1837, yet we can still learn from this tale.
Do not lie to what you see in the mirror. It is the truth.
Alright, bring your blanket and I hope you enjoy tonight's story.

  • Tale#3 How Night Came
    Hello, fellow sleepy heads!
Our 3rd tale is from the land of the wild nature!
I'm happy to introduce a tale from Brazil called How Night Came.
As you can guess, it is about how night has come.
This new story (to me) will guide you to the rich land of nature and animals. Let's learn how night came.
Alright, bring your blanket and I hope you enjoy tonight's story.

  • Tale#2 Hanasakajiisan
    Hello, fellow sleepy heads
Our second episode of G'nitales is from Japan where I was born and raised.
There are many Japanese old folk tales, and
Hanasakajiisan (the old man who made the withered trees flower) was my favorite.
My sister and I received big thick books containing 366 old tales for our birthdays, so we used to take turns reading each story every day.
Old folk tales can sometimes remind you of the good old memories from your childhood.
I hope this episode will do the same for you too.
Alright, now bring your blanket and I hope you enjoy the story.

  • Tale#1: Humpty Dumpty

Welcome to our first episode of G'niTales!

Our first episode is .... Humpty Dumpty.

It is said that the first version of rhymes of Humpty Dumpty is recorded in late 18th century in England, and probably you have heard some versions of it.

I hope this tale will drift you into a good deep sleep or bring you back to your childhood!
