Have you ever heard- "Don't do that, trust me I've already made that mistake."

I've heard this plenty of times from my parents, mentors and coaches. Though the weird part is rarely did I heed the advice. I regularly found myself making the same exact mistakes I was told how to avoid. Now maybe this is just me, and I am stubborn and hard headed, or maybe others have also had similar experiences. Though making mistakes isn't the problem, making mistakes is OK, it is how we learn. Today I dive in deep and explain that it's OK to make mistakes, just don't keep making the same mistakes, instead learn, adapt and keep moving forward.
