  • Episode 203 – A Battle is Raging
How are you fighting the battle that's raging around us? Today, Chandalee and Jenn chat with Moms in Prayer leadership, Sally Burke, President, and Patti Walker, Tennessee State Coordinator.

Da'at Elohim—knowing God—means we talk with Him and develop a relationship. We do that through prayer, and prayer allows us to fight that unseen battle. Moms in Prayer fights that battle for children and schools worldwide by gathering mothers to pray. And, if you don't have kids or your kids have grown and flown, you can pray for your grandchildren, your nieces and nephews and even your neighbors' kids! Grab your coffee and listen in to this encouraging conversation!

  • Episode 202 – Knowledge: It’s Not All In Your Head
In this episode, Chandalee and Jenn continue the conversation about da'at Elohim and yada—knowing God and what we can learn from the book of Hosea. Last week, they talked about the vast amount of information/knowledge that is available to us in today's culture, up to 34GB a day to be exact! WOW. That's an astounding amount of words, data, pictures, videos, etc. we are exposed to. It can give us a false sense of knowledge, especially about God. Da'at Elohim—knowledge of God—is so much more than what we just see, hear and even think! Listen in this week as the girls talk about how a relationship with God is true da'at Elohim.

  • Episode 16: The Challenge
Welcome back to the Go and Equip Podcast! Today, Chandalee and Jenn host a conversation with David McNabb of Adult and Teen Challenge in Chattanooga. Adult and Teen Challenge is a faith-based, residential recovery program for men and women struggling with addiction.
    Did you know ...

Almost 21 million Americans have at least one addiction, yet only 10% of them receive treatment. [1]
Drug overdose deaths have more than tripled since 1990. [1]
More than 90% of people who have an addiction started to drink alcohol or use drugs before they were 18 years old. [1]

For each of these 21 million, there are countless friends and family affected as well. So many lives impacted by the trauma and pain. It's overwhelming.
    But, God.
He has provided hope through Christ and help through facilities such Adult and Teen Challenge! Their mission is to provide adults freedom from addiction and other life-controlling issues through Christ-centered solutions. David and the staff show ahavah daily to each participant through their doors, while encouraging them to know and share God as they celebrate what God can and is doing in each life.

  • Episode 15: Apologia – Beginning at the Beginning
“Let’s start at the very beginning, a very good place to start…” as Julie Andrews sang in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music, most times, the best place to start is at the beginning. With apologetics and defending our faith, it’s no different. So many times, we struggle to find answers to complex questions, and we question, “Where do we start?” God has given us Genesis 1-11 to provide biblical responses to so many hot-button topics in today’s culture.

Pull up a chair as Chandalee and Jenn talk with Bryan Osborne from Answers in Genesis. Bryan and his wife, Marla, are mutual friends of our co-hosts and met at Stuart Heights Baptist Church years ago. He is a former public school teacher, a worldwide speaker for Answers in Genesis and author of Quick Answers to Tough Questions and Quick Answers to Social Issues.

  • Episode 14: Pressing Into The Dark Places
In Exodus 20:21, Moses didn't retreat FROM the dark place (cloud) where God was, but he PRESSED INTO it! Today, Chandalee and Jenn are chatting with Leighann McCoy, Prayer Minister at Thompson Station Church in Tennessee! Leighann is no stranger to the dark places. By pressing into them, instead of retreating, she's developed a deeper, richer relationship with God. Leighann writes and teaches on prayer and spiritual warfare and how our relationship with God can and will go deeper when we press into Him during the dark times.

You can find Leighann on her blog, at The Prayer Clinic and Thompson Station Church. Leighann has written 17 books, all of which can be purchased on her blog and on Amazon. The books talked about today on the podcast are Spiritual Warfare for Women, Spiritual Warfare for Your Family and A Woman's Guide to Hearing God's Voice.
