In his last 5 years at Little Giant, he oversaw the cable and telecom industry, generating over $150 million in sales. He is also an active board member of The Honoring Heroes Foundation, supporting fallen police officers and their families. Sachin founded Sachinmotion, a movement to raise awareness and funds for veterans and first responders battling PTSD and mental health illnesses. Despite struggling with weight gain, Sachin found solace in lifting and bodybuilding and eventually discovered a love for running. He hopes to continue his family's legacy of service by helping those who have served and advocating for mental health support.
In our talk with Sachin, we cover his journey to running a half marathon daily for a week and how he overcame mental health challenges. He started with short runs and gradually increased his distance, even though his body wasn't fully ready for a 21K race that he completed in just two months.
