Go Boldly to The Throne of Grace | Voice of God with Joseph Z

Listen Later

In today's prophetic teaching, Joseph Z describes how a revelatory knowledge of God's love unlocks our supernatural power, and how boldness before the throne of grace stems from Christ's sacrifice for us.

Joseph explains that John possessed the same insights as David, particularly regarding how God values relationships more than religion. He emphasizes that when we cultivate a relationship that transcends religion, we come to understand the heart of God, enabling us to perform supernatural and powerful deeds. To illustrate this point, he references Hebrews 4:14-16, highlighting that God invites us to approach His throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace in our time of need.

He explains that the heavenly system operates according to rules and laws. When we break these, we inadvertently grant demons access to our lives. Joseph describes the courtroom of heaven as one featuring a throne rather than a judge's bench, with God presiding as the judge over all cases and matters brought before Him. In this courtroom, Jesus serves as our attorney, who never loses a case. He advocates for us as our high priest, able to sympathize with our weaknesses because He has already paid the price for our sins with His blood. John, Joseph reveals, was aware of this dynamic and utilized it, which allowed him to endure longer than the other disciples.

Joseph emphasizes that we can approach God's throne boldly because of Jesus' sacrifice, not because of our own righteousness or worthiness. He clarifies that the extent of what we receive from God is directly related to the depth of our belief in what Jesus accomplished. We are viewed through the lens of Jesus and His blood. Moreover, it is noted that John had exceptional access to Jesus and was present during significant moments when Jesus was revealed in His glory.

Furthermore, Joseph points out that John uniquely captures over seven of Jesus' "I am" statements. These can be found in John 6:35, John 8:12, John 10:9, John 10:11, John 11:25, John 14:6, John 15:1, and John 18:6. He insists that the great "I am" is working for us in every situation, and the key to our breakthrough lies in the revelation of what Jesus has done for us.
