Welcome to the GO DATE YOURSELF Podcast! We're Kerry & Nicole - two single friends in our 30s choosing to put our relationships with ourselves first. We'll be taking ourselves on weekly self-love dates and talking about it each week, and we want YOU to join us in your own self-love journey.
Each week we'll release a new self-date prompt - whether it's a simple coffee date, a museum date, or taking yourself to try a new activity that you have on your bucket list. Whatever it is, we believe it is important to show yourself some love, and to embrace life experiences on your own.
Don't go to your usual spots. Try a spot in a new neighborhood to get out of your comfort zone and routine.
Don't wear headphones. Open yourself up to the opportunity to interact with the people in your environment.
Don't be glued to your phone. Better yet, put it on "do not disturb" mode for a few hours so you can live in the moment.
Get dressed! Even if you're taking yourself to a new workout class, wear your best workout outfit, style your hair, wear the perfume you'd swear you'd only use for special occasions... FEEL yourself!
Give out one compliment: Barista has a cute shade of lip gloss? The couple next to you at a cooking class has great energy? The guy at the bar sitting alone has impeccable style? TELL THEM! We feel good about ourselves when we appreciate the people around us.We can't wait to date ourselves, TOGETHER!
