This week Ellie Arnold joins us again to talk about Korihor the Anti-Christ, the lessons we learn about how the philosophies of man contrast with the gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as the Zoramites' particularly unusual method of worship.

It is always amazing how scripture from so long ago can have such applicability to our present and our future. The lesson this week certainly has many interesting parallels. With the Anti-Nephi-Lehis we learn how identity carries great meaning, that covenants and discipleship often require sacrifice, and that the Lord's message is for all of his children regardless of geography, background, or worthiness.

This week Daniel and Fili discuss the beginning of the missions of the sons of Mosiah, the conversion of many important Lamanite leaders, the influence of Abish as a faithful believer, and the impact of serving and caring for those around us.

This week Brian Hart joins us to discuss some of the doctrine of the Priesthood, what it means to "enter into the rest of the Lord," and why sometimes God does not prevent tragedies from happening to good people. Remember to subscribe and share!

This week we study Alma and Amulek and their teachings to the people of Ammonihah. We discuss how our efforts to share the gospel often require persistence and patience, how God judges us according to the light and knowledge that we have, the importance of the Plan of Redemption and the role the commandments play within that Plan, and that when we do not harden our hearts, we can receive more of the word of God.

This was the last episode that we recorded prior to implementing social distance precautions. We jumped ahead a few months ago to record Alma 5-7 with Dustin Call, so you may notice we don't mention the pandemic when you might expect we would! Enjoy!

In this lesson we talk about what it means to have a change of heart and how it is merely the beginning of a larger process to become more like the Savior. We talk about how to fortify a fledgling testimony and how there is great strength in having faith enough to believe something is true even when you may not know without a doubt that it is true.

This week Fili and Daniel are joined by Carly Farley (and her new little daughter!) to discuss Mosiah 29 - Alma 4. In this lesson we discuss how to make a positive influence on your community with the examples of Mosiah and Alma, and how to recognize and false doctrine and how to fortify ourselves and others against being deceived, learning from the actions of Nehor and Amlici.

Michael Knight joins Daniel and Fili to discuss Mosiah 25-28, a section that includes the conversion of Alma the Younger and the sons of Mosiah. In this lesson we discuss that everyone is responsible for their own testimony, that God hears and answers our prayers in His time, and that conversion is a lifelong process.

Dustin Call joins Fili and Daniel this week to discuss how the Lord helps us lighten our burdens even in the biggest challenges, how He uses the organization of the Church to benefit the members, and how we should maintain a sense of unity and community around us through ministering.

This week we discuss Mosiah 11-17 with Sarah Jensen. We discuss how we must stand for truth, even if that means we stand alone, that we need to apply our hearts to understand God's word, that the Lord sustains His servants even through all trials, the doctrine of the Father and Son being two separate beings that are one in purpose, and how we, our friends, and our families can be strong in the face of social pressures to compromise our standards.
