This week Andy Hortin joins Daniel and Fili to discuss not only faith and charity as defined in Ether 12, but also how the Lord wants us to implement those characteristics of Christ in our daily lives. They also discuss the importance of repentance and in not shutting out the voice of the Lord in order to maintain the presence of the Spirit.

Daniel and Fili discuss the journey of the Jaredites to the promised land and how the trials in our daily lives are reflected there. They also discuss the "pride cycle" as experienced throughout these chapters. Finally, they discuss the 7 day #givethanks challenge issued by President Nelson on Friday, November 20, and the importance of finding things to be grateful for even in the midst of our most difficult trials and tribulations.

This week Moroni takes us back in time a bit to begin to cover the plates that Limhi and his people found: The Book of Ether. Daniel and FIli discuss the Brother of Jared and his experiences with interacting with the Lord. They leave the chaotic world of the Tower of Babel behind and are led through the wilderness and across "many waters." They discuss how what each of us can learn about prayer, asking things of the Lord, and how the Lord uses challenges in our lives to help us learn a grow. They also discuss the importance of the Three Witnesses in the latter-days as a testimony of the plates and by extension, their contents.

Daniel and Fili discuss the Book of Mormon coming at the time that it is most needed, in its translation, its teaching to the world, and in our day-to-day lives. They discuss the importance of staying focused on what is most important in life and what will bring lasting happiness, rather than the fleeting and temporary.

This week Daniel and Fili discuss Mormon's example of diligence and longsuffering as he withstands the sorrow and frustration of the wicked people around him. They discuss how we should be contributors of tolerance, understanding, and charity, even during vehement disagreement and how to fortify our foundations in truth to overcome all obstacles.

This week Daniel and Fili discuss the emphasis the Lord puts on the name of the Church throughout time, the happy state of the Nephites after the visit of the Savior, what led to their downfall, and what we can do to avoid the same fate as individuals. They also discuss the desires of the 12 disciples called in the Americas and the unique circumstances and mission of the Three Nephites.

Daniel and Fili discuss the teachings of Christ to the multitude in the Americas. They discuss how the sacrament prepares us spiritually to be more receptive to the Lord's teachings and how our challenges and trials serve as a refining fire to purify us and sanctify us to become better versions of ourselves. 

Daniel and Fili continue discussing the visit of Christ to the Americas as He ministers to the people and teaches them the importance of prayer, the Sacrament, and priesthood authority. They discuss the meaning of the ministering of angels after Christ's blessing of the children of the multitude. 

This bonus episode is not from the Come, Follow Me curriculum, but Daniel and Fili discuss the most recent General Conference and what important themes stood out. 

This week Daniel and Fili discuss the teaching of the Beatitudes and and Lord's Prayer, as well as many of the other basic principles of the gospel to the inhabitants of the Americas. They discuss what it means to be a disciple of Christ and what that means about how we should all treat one another.
