Let's Go!!
Hey!! I knew Jacqui was in Canada, but Canada is a whole country lol. I had no idea I would run into her the weekend I went up to visit Burman University. A few hours later and we had the opportunity to catch up and record the podcast in the brand new Burman Ministry Centre. Big shout out to Kevin and Scott for helping record the pod in the beautiful studio. Certainly inspiring as I continue to think of how to set mine up!
In this episode I talk with Jacqui McCarty, a fellow missionary to Palau - but also to other parts of the world. She shares some valuable reflection the impact of missions in her life, the perception of missions today, and a necessity to strongly consider where you are and what you're taking on when you look into becoming a missionary. An awesome and honest conversation for sure.

In this episode I have a chat with Ernest Hernandez, the director of the NAD's Office for Volunteer Missions. We get a chance to see what has inspired him in his pursuit and promotion of missions from the brand new Burman Ministry Centre on the campus of Burman University in Alberta, Canada. We were here to participate in Burman's missions weekend, including several talks and break out sessions, and the official opening of the Centre as a launchpad for missions all across Canada. A pleasure to have the opportunity to record the first ever podcast with their beautiful setup, and we know it's just the beginning for them and their ministry! The best is yet to come! ps. We didn't have all the audio figured out on this podcast, as we were all new to the process in this space. But thanks and a big shoutout to Kevin Kiers and Scott for helping out, and I'm so excited to see how things go for them in the future!

I talk with a good friend of mine, fellow mission-hearted guy Nick Bishop. He tells his story through the lens of excitement, disappointment and excitement again in his relationship with missions. Big things coming!

What's the real difference between going into a gym with a 10-8-6 mentality and going in with a "three sets of ten" mentality? In my opinion, it's a huge one. But this mentality is something that that we carry with us in all aspects of life, not just the gym.
Ever been daunted by a big goal, and the fear of the process stopped you from taking the first step? How can you get to a place where you're not afraid to take that step, and then not afraid to fail the further you go?
baby steps.
