So many people are focused on their follower count and base their online success on how many followers they have, and I think this is one of the worst mindsets you can have when it comes to your social media.
The fact is that, when the organic reach on social platforms is incredibly low, the follower count becomes less and less valuable.
What's the point of having 10,000 likes on your Facebook page when it'll only show your post to 1%-2% of them?
The best strategy is to create contextual content that is either entertaining and/or valuable to your audience, and listen to the community's feedback, and then adapt to it.
If you do that, your follower count will start to increase naturally, but you're also creating posts that your audience will be interested in, which then exposes your post to more and more people.....because that's just the way most of the algorithms work these days.
So please stop focusing on how many followers you have, and go all in on creating either entertaining and/or valuable content for your audience, and see how much better the results will be.
