On the 26th of January, 2022, Olympique Lyon of the French top-flight allegedly terminated the contract of one of their players for the most bizarre of reasons. Now, this is a story Man United fans may not really want to hear, but their outgoing coach, Ralf Rangnick actually helped their bitter rivals, Liverpool, achieve a lot of success and even get into the Champions League final.  First of all, the revolutionary Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, was inspired by Ralf Rangick, who is commonly known by his peers as The Professor. Some years back, Klopp declared that Rangnick was “one of the best if not the best German coach.”  And that statement made sense because the Liverpool boss always looked up to the short-term United coach. Just recently, we witnessed the dramatic end to one of football's most controversial transfer sagas, as Kylian Mbappe finally signed a new contract to remain at PSG.  For most of the past one year, it looked pretty certain that he would move to Real Madrid. Even just a few days before he signed that contract, he had promised Madrid president Florentino Perez that he would move to the club.   But all that changed after a late dramatic twist, as Mbappe made a U-turn, opting to stay at PSG instead. This really annoyed Madrid, and they have since come out to express their displeasure.  And in this video, we talk about what PSG had to do to make him change his mind and stay at the club. We were all given a decent dose of shock over the weekend when Kylian Mbappe announced that he would be remaining at PSG despite virtually everything pointing towards him joining Real Madrid this summer. This has led us to look at some instances when players turned down offers from Real Madrid. You gotta admit, when Madrid comes calling, players almost always fall head over heels running towards them.

Recently, Manchester City unveiled a statue of Sergio Aguero to celebrate that famous title-winning goal he scored in 2012 against QPR. Well, we still have our issues with that statue, because let's face it, it looks more like Toni Kroos than Sergio Aguero. For footballers, what’s the one thing that puts them at risk of this condition? Headers!  Over the years, we have seen different footballers come out in bad condition after going in for an aerial duel.  Some start bleeding on the spot. Some are disoriented for some minutes due to being concussed. Oh, by the way, statistics show that 22 percent of injuries in football these days are concussions. 

That shows you how common they are.  Some require an ambulance to take them off the pitch like Ronald Araujo against Celta Vigo. Some crack their skulls like Petr Cech. Some even nearly lose their lives on the spot, Raul Jimenez against Arsenal in 2020 being a pretty recent example.   

Now, these are the ones with immediate and obvious impacts. What’s scary is that, sometimes, a player could win a clear header and feel perfectly normal at that moment, but that could be contributing to their risk of suffering from CTE later in life.

Well, it would appear that not only did CR7 smash the phone on the floor, but he also bruised the kid’s hand in the process, as his mother would later reveal on social media.  

The whole situation looked even worse when we discovered that the 14-year-old fan who lives with autism was having his first appearance in a stadium that day. And according to his mother, he was utterly shocked and may never go see another game live because of that.
