God calls Jonah to preach the Gospel, but Jonah attempts to hide from God and his call. Dr. Paulson opens this episode by giving us a brief overview of how the distinction between law and the Gospel is worked out in the preacher's call. That is, the demand on the preacher to proclaim is a law, but the particular word they are sent to deliver is the promise of the Gospel.
