What kind of events were happening during the time King David wrote songs that led him to write so many verses about “protect me from my enemies” (like in Psalm 35)?
If you read the Bible then you probably have Bible questions. And we’ve got answers. Rather, Dr. Jeremy does.
Dr. Jeremy Grinnell earned his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Calvin Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI, and taught theology at seminary for nearly 15 years. Here are the questions he takes on in this episode.
Why did Jesus say to the thief on the cross that "today" he would be with him if Jesus wasn't going straight to heaven that day?
Does forbidding touching dead bodies refer to just people or does it include animals? (Referring to Samson).
Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to the disciples at Pentecost. Was the Holy Spirit available/present in the Old testament as He is now?
What does it mean to put on the armor of God? Seems to be something either crazy important or another Christian fad that we lift out of context like Jeremiah 29:11.
Assuming its importance, how do we put on the armor and keep it on throughout the day?
How about annihilation? The chaff will be burned up. The sticks go in the fire, turn to ashes and are no more. Eternal punishment seems like the punishment doesn't fit the crime.
And last, can fallen angels be forgiven and redeemed?
