Allow the power of the Holy Spirit to rest in your heart as you make some great decisions for Next Year.

Rest your mind.

Relax your body.

Reset your goals.

Renew your strength as you work out during the week.

Reboot and allow the new feeling of goodness and mercy to follow you daily.

Review your life and do a personal assessment on your business, and how you connected with God spiritually, and mentally.

Enjoy life.

On the podcast today, we are sharing a God and Therapy Podcast favorite- Grief is a Real Journey - It's Okay

Today's episode was originally aired on Jun 23, 2025.

It's okay to allow yourself to feel the grief and let it flow through your body as you process and deal with the feeling.

We suffer from so many different types of loss, and how we manage our emotions and monitor them is important.

So many people run from grief and sadness while living in denial, as the delayed grief races through their mind and body.

Allow yourself to feel the loss of opportunity, the loss of a job, the loss of partnerships, and the loss of marriage, and yes, it can happen to anyone. As you face the sadness of life, take the time to caress and nurture the grief as you learn that grief is normal, grief is real, and it's a lifetime journey.

Today, choose to embrace the loss and nurture the feelings. It's okay not to be ok. Believe that God will make it work for you.

Psalm 31: 9 - Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eye is wasted from grief; my soul and my body also.

Self-care is taking care of your body, eating well, and sleeping well. It is also making sure you do the simple things in life. For example, looking at the beautiful trees and enjoying the sunshine. You are worth it.

So sit down today and examine: who am I, and how can I partner with God and his greatness?

A friend is generally defined as a person with whom one has a close and informal relationship based on mutual trust. A friend is a person you like and enjoy spending time with, and who you support.

Jesus is a friend who will connect with you closer than a brother.

What great friend that someone will lay down their life for us.

It would be wise to connect with Jesus as your friend.

So today, trust God with all your heart. Allow your spirit to lean into God and believe his word, love, and kindness for you.
