To close out the year, Pastor Timothy Pender conducted a revisit of the opening series for 2021, DNA: The Core Of The Local Church. Pastor Tim reviewed some highlights from each of the four episodes of the series to remind us that we have the DNA of Jesus which has certain results in the reflection of our lives to those around us.

This series examines doubt in the life of a Christian. Through the experiences of biblical characters, we can see that doubt pushes believers toward a deeper understanding of faith. This reveals that God’s desire is that we walk with him in our seasons of doubt. That He may strengthen, encourage and mature those who seek Him. In this episode, “The Reality”, We look at a situation with the Apostle Thomas. Just like Thomas, our doubt can show how close we are to God; we can be transformed by Jesus in our doubt. As we draw closer to Jesus, our doubts be challenged by God’s truth and faithfulness.

This reveals that God’s desire is that we walk with him in our seasons of doubt. That He may strengthen, encourage and mature those who seek Him. In this episode, “The Transparency”, We can believe God and struggle to believe at the same time. But Jesus will accept us, even in our struggle. We will not hide our doubt but will bring our unbelief before a loving God.

In this episode, “The Journey”, We look at a situation with John the Baptist. Just like John the Baptist, Christians will go through seasons of doubt. But that doubt can become a time of spiritual formation. This means our doubts should become the catalyst to pursue and understand Jesus.

This series explores the seven “I Am” statements of Jesus in the Gospel of John. Each “I Am” declaration illustrates a specific revelation of Jesus’s character and testifies to his divinity. Also, each of the “I Am” proclamations reveal our spiritual needs and how Jesus perfectly meets each and every one of those needs. In this episode, subtitled, “True Vine”, Jesus proclaims, “I am the true vine” and desires his disciples to bear fruit by abiding and remaining in him. We can bear much fruit by abiding in Jesus through our faith and living completely dependent upon Jesus.
