Real love should produce actions. Just telling someone you love them means nothing if you're not putting in actions behind your speech. Jesus being our ultimate example showed us real love. Not just by words, but by deed. If we love our spouses, friends, family, or even God and don't put any actions behind it, our words mean nothing. Let's change the way we love! Over the past couple of weeks, love has been a topic that has come up frequently. Whether in prayer, bible classes, or even social media posts. Love is always something desired, however often misconstrued. In today's episode, we talk about how our feelings get in the way of truly loving people like we should.  

During the holidays it can be difficult for those who have lost loved ones or for those that may spend the holidays by themselves. This can cause for some deep depression. So much so, that suicide may cross one's mind. I want to encourage anyone who may be dealing with depression or deep sadness, to Do Themselves No Harm!!!!! In hard times, bad storms, the trials of life, and every other churchy phrase we can come up with to describe when bad things happen to us, the question really becomes simple. Do you trust God? Its easy to say yes, but the action is hard to do. Let's talk about it in our 20th episode. Do You Really Trust God?!!!

I think sometimes we can struggle between self-love and selfishness. There's a thin line, and I know this is an area that God is working with me on. I think in a world where self-care is needed, we should ensure that the care for ourselves doesn't include the lack for others. 

The waiting period time from when I make my order at a restaurant to when the food actually comes is the worst to me! In my impatience, I get cranky, mouthy, and in reality I become a real jerk! To be honest, that's how we are in our relationship with Christ! Waiting can be difficult, but when you trust the God that promised you, it makes it easier to wait it out for God's divine hand. 

Definitely thought this was episode 14 LOL! I am tired!!! BUT I have a WORD! Somethings in life hit different based upon your experience. Sometimes, scriptures, stories, novels, and other things come alive based on your experiences in life. These experiences are meant to be shared for the Glory of God and how you made it over. Sometimes in the most stressful moments of life, you have to hold on to what you know best. Yes it's painful, yes you're overwhelmed, and yes YOU have to go through it. BUT! If you can just get a grip, and don't give up, I promise you're going to make it through. 

In my opinion one of the most asked question in times of despair is "What to do When Bad Things Happen?" What do you do? Do you go to a friend? Family? What if none of them are around? I think I have an answer that is simple, yet hard to do and believe. Let's talk about it!

I had to come to grips with a hard reality. I can be judgmental sometimes. It's unintentional, but I think because how I grew up it was just a part of me. However, when I self reflect of the sins God forgave me of, I have to drop the stones and extend the same grace that I was given. Take this journey with me today as I discuss today's topic.
