Judgment – For us to pass through the coming Judgment, it’s critical that we have done all that is required for us to make it through based on God’s Word. I know this is not a subject many want to hear, but because I love you, and I must be faithful to God, I share this message. If we lived our lives as prescribed by the Lord, then all our prayers, all our service, all our devotion, all our tithes and offerings, all the repenting we have done, and all the work we have done on our salvation will pay off. It all comes to down to our ability to pass by the Judgment Seat of Christ. How did we live, what did we do will with all God blessed us with, after we accepted Christ? The question is how confident are we that we can stand before Christ and he will say “well done good and faithful servant”? The Day of Judgement is a personal accountability day; we all will stand before Christ with nothing but our lives to account for. No one will be there to speak for us, no church, no pastor, no family member, no friend. Jesus already knows our walk and our deeds; will we pass through?

True Worshiper – What does it mean to be a true worshiper of God? We need to understand how the Lord receives our worship and praise. It’s important, so our worship of God is done in a way that it reaches the throne of God, and he looks done on us with favor. Worshiping God so others can be impressed with our worship; is worshiping God in vain. Worshiping just we can show others that we have some spiritual gift, is false worship of God. For the Lord says when we do things to impress others, we have already received our reward. We need to be a true worship of the Father and Christ Jesus, keeping our focus on God, so our praise and worship will be like sweet perfume that rises to God’s throne. It pleases God, because we worship the Lord in truth, with a clean mind, a pure heart, right motives, while keeping our bodies in check.

Living A Christian Life – is a teaching about living a changed life. Have we been changed, are we living a Christian life that is acceptable to God? Our life has to start representing the things of God and Christ Jesus and stop representing the sinful ways of the world. We can no longer look like the world; we have to live as imitators of Christ Jesus. God has to be able to see his Spirit and his Son living inside of us. Living a Christian life is not easy, but it is about living full of tolerance, patience, love, forgiveness, overcoming. It is about deliverance and walking in the likeness of Christ. Sin has greatly increased in the world, how in the world can we escape? God said he will increase his grace so you and I can overcome and still live a Christian life in such a sinful world. We must preserver and overcome, we must live a life worthy of our calling. We must live a life that glorifies God, not ourselves, not others, and not this world. We must do and live our life in the way described in God’s Word so what we do, is pleasing to God.

Giving God Your Best – what a teaching from the Lord. What does it mean for us to give God our best? Is it about going to church, paying tithes and offering, is it about having a prayer life, is it about knowing and studying God’s Word, is it about helping others? What does giving God your best entails? We need to know the answer to this question because it is through us giving God our best that he causes increase and overflow in our lives. Hmmm… are you giving God your best really, think about this, don’t be so quick to say “Yes”. I am sure there are things you and I are not doing in giving God our best. Here is where the power of giving God our best magnifies, he will see our faithfulness, obedience, and count us worthy and pour into us. God has poured his best into his Son Christ Jesus, so we can receive the best from God.

Everlasting – is a teaching about working and growing in the Lord so what we produce for the Lord is based on his everlasting promises, his everlasting power, and his everlasting authority. We must come to understand just how temporary things are that we create and produce. What we receive from the world is nothing compared to that which is everlasting in God. We have to be mindful of where we place our energy, time, money, and effort in seeking things, thinking somehow, it will last. Nothing will last that is not formed and shaped by God, for only in the Lord are things everlasting. We must seek everlasting things in God, who will bless us in this life and in the life to come.

The Peace of God – Peace is what you and I have been desiring all our lives. We seek and pursue peace within ourselves, within others, and from this world. We start one thing, then we start another hoping it will bring peace, but its only temporary. That brings up the questions, where does real peace comes from? The kind of peace that can be enjoyed for years, for a lifetime. Accepting Christ does not mean we will automatically receive God’s Peace into our life. We have to become a person of peace, a peacemaker as the Lord instructs us to be. How are we doing? Do we promote peace, or do we cause hate, anger, fear, and frustrations? To have peace, we must be peacemakers.

Discipleship – is a teaching about Discipleship. We have been called to follow Jesus, which means we must pick up our cross and do the same things Christ did. He came teaching us how to please the Father. Christ taught his Disciples and Apostles how to walk before God, how to be a true Disciple of his. We must understand that being called into Discipleship is not about us living in riches and prosperity, and teaching others to do the same. We must walk as Jesus did, who did not live on this earth in luxury, though he surely could have come fully crowned and dressed as a King. He came to show us how to live and serve God. He came to teach us Discipleship, so in the end, we will help save souls and be richly rewarded

Your Calling – is a teaching about understanding God’s plan and call for our life. As scriptures teaches us, God has a plan for us; God calls us into service to carry out his will. We must be willing to hear what the Lord desires of us to do and walk in a way accomplishes God’s plan for our lives. We are taught, we must be willing to live a life worthy of our calling and remain faithful to God through it all. Our calling is not about riches and prosperity, it is to carry out the Will of God and to bring God glory. What we do through our calling; must be pleasing God and not to ourselves. God called us; we did not call ourselves. It’s about God’s Will, and not our own. It’s about God’s Calling on our life, and we must surrender to the call of God.

Receiving From God – is about being in a place where we are able to receive from God. We want many things from God, but we must understand God does not pour into us if we are not living right before him. We must be the kind of person God will honor. We must become the type of person the Lord can instruct, one the Lord can change. God pours into those who understand that receiving from God is not just for us, but it’s to create overflow and be a blessing to others. God’s blessings are meant to be received so many gives God glory. We want to receive the full measure of what God has to offer each one of us.

God’s In Control – is a teaching to get us to realize that we are not in control; we must follow the Lord who has all power and authority. We must look within ourselves, be truthful about our desires, about what we think of ourselves, and how we try to control life decisions and situations. Who is really making decisions, is it us or God? To say we are following the Lord means Christ Jesus is in control of our lives. We must truly give ourselves away to God, submit ourselves to the Lord, to his leadership and his will for our life. We must be willing to surrender ourselves to God, who will give us our portion to manage. If we manage it will, go will cause our portion to increase. This is what it means to follow Jesus, and let the Lord be in control of our lives so we can live content, and at peace because God is in control. He will not take control from us, we have free will, but if we give ourselves to God, the Lord will lead, guide, protect, love, and teach us.
