·    Everlasting – is a

teaching about working and growing in the Lord, so what we produce for the Lord

is based on his everlasting promises.  We

will look at the things that are temporary, that we receive from the world,

compared to that which is everlasting in God. 

So we are mindful of where we should place our energy, time, money, and

effort in pleasing God, and living our lives

·    Discipleship – is a

teaching about becoming a Disciple of Christ Jesus, understanding the life of a

Disciple, and what is expected of those called and chosen by God.  Can we live a life set apart for the Lord in

these times? What does it mean to be a Disciple? What do we have to look

forward to in being a Disciple of Christ Jesus?

·    Denying God – is a

teaching about looking at different areas in our lives were we have chosen to

deny God.  Though we have struggles in

living in a world that is totally against God’s way of Living that does not

give us excuses for not living as God has called us to live. As Christians we

have to deny this world’s pressures, and stand on our faith in God. Not denying

God, but denying ourselves, denying this world and all its evil ways

·    The Father And The

Son – is a teaching about settling in our minds and heart the truth about

God the Father and his Son Christ Jesus. We tend to either deny the one, or we

think they are the same. But what does the Word of God says about the Father

and the Son? Whatever the Word of God says is what we should believe is the

truth, and nothing else.

·    Bound By God’s Truth – is a teaching about seeking God’s truth compared to us making up the Lord’s truth? Looking at whether we are living by the Truth of God, or do we have some lies woven into our understanding of God’s Truth?  As Christians, we must be able to have confidence we are walking only by  God’s Truth, because there is no other truth in which we can be saved. Truth only comes from God, so it can last from generation to generation.

Nothing Is Too

Hard For God– is a teaching about placing all our trust in the

Lord, believing that nothing in this world is too hard for the Lord.  There is no sickness too hard for God, there

is no financial problem too hard for God. There is no relationship problem too

hard for God. God is able to handle every small and great problem that comes

our way, all we have to do is take it to the Lord in faith, and trust in God

·    God Remains The

Same – is a teaching about knowing that God the Father and our Lord Christ

Jesus will always remain the same. This is where our confidence in the Lord

must grow. If we know that God will remain the same, then we can work on

changing to become like the Lord in every way.  We can learn how to truly depend on the Lord,

knowing that he is “Solid As A Rock”.

·    Being Attacked – is a

teaching about recognizing that more than anyone else, those who are seeking

the Lord will be under constant attack from the devil and others. We must learn

how to stay before the Lord, so he places his loving wings of protection around

us, so we can be tested without falling away. We all will have trouble, but

trouble can’t keep us from the Lord. We don’t fight our own battles, the Lord

fights for us, the Lord is on our side; we will not be defeated. No one or

nothing can harm us, if we stay faithful.

·    Help From The Lord

– is a teaching about knowing how to receive help from the Lord. Many

times it’s not what’s on the outside that is preventing the Lord from helping

us, its pride and arrogance that is on the inside that is keeping the Lord’s

hand away. We must seek help from the Lord by approaching the Lord in humility

and prayer. Building up confidence that all our help comes from the Lord, we don’t

need any solution that does not come from God

·    God’s Power and Authority – is a teaching about

living under the power and authority of God. Is living under God’s power and

authority hard for us to achieve? Will it cause us to suffer, thus causing us

to deny the Lord? What happens when we reject God’s power and authority? We must

come to believe in the awesome power and authority of God to protect us, to

shield us, to lift us up.
