·    Known By God – is a teaching

about becoming known by God. It’s one thing for us to say we know of the Lord,

or to say we know the Word of God, but it’s another thing for God to know us by

name.  Being known by God will ensure we

receive instructions and guidance from the Lord directly.  Being known by God means we will be taught by

the Lord, and receive our life’s assignment from the Lord

Being Offended – is a

teaching about being offended by God’s Word. There are many things in the Word

of God based on where we are in Christ that would greatly offend us.  The Word of God is intended to cut at the

heart of us; it will offend us because of the way we think, and what we think

of ourselves. We must become humble, so nothing about the Word of God will

offend us, but only mature us.

Learning To Care – is a

teaching about developing a caring heart. Once we have the right motives, and

we develop the kind of love the Lord is requiring for us to have, we can really

be a caring person. We will properly care for ourselves and others. Our heart

will be full of love and care, and not only for ourselves.  Our actions of caring, will not be covered up

with our motives of self, we will truly care, even if there is nothing in it

for us.

·    Wrong Motives – is a

teaching about knowing what is really driving our motives. Many times after we

come to know God the Father and our Lord Christ Jesus, we start trying to do

good things; we have a desire to serve. But with wrong motives, we are still

missing what the Lord is trying to get us to understand and see, that our

actions have to be driven by the right motives for them to be acceptable to God

 

·    Spiritual Blindness

– is a teaching about understanding what is blinding us. Many of us

think that we can see, now that we have accepted Christ as our Savior.  But we didn’t become blind overnight, and we

will not be able to see clearly overnight. Slowly by walking with Christ, our

eyes are opened so we can see. As the Lord teaches us his ways we gain spiritual

sight, and we are able to see through Christ’s light.

Everything Changes

– is a teaching about allowing for everything to change in our lives, as

we live through Christ, nothing can stay the same. This will take mature

understanding, to let go of what we have worked for all our lives, to allow God

to have His way. In the Lord, all things must change, so we become more like

Christ Jesus.

·    It All Belongs To

God – is a teaching about giving all the glory to God. AS the Lord starts

blessing us, and pouring into our lives, we can’t get confused about who

desires all the glory. Everything good comes from God, so let us be faithful in

giving God all the glory, through our Lord Christ Jesus. It all belongs to the

Lord.

·    Getting Untied – is a teaching

about us coming to walk with Christ Jesus, which means we have to get untied

from everything that bind us. Little by little, we have to experience freedom

that is found in Christ Jesus.  As we

learn to let go, and let God, we start to walk unchained by the world, free to

love and glorify God, through Christ Jesus

·    Spiritual Journey– is a

teaching about getting started on a spiritual journey with the Lord that will

take a life time to complete. On this journey we not only come to know the Lord

better, but we will know ourselves. This journey will change everything in our

lives, if we are devoted to reaching the end of the journey. We will experience

total changed in us, be strengthen by the Lord, and come to truly trust in God

the Father and our Lord Christ Jesus, and be blessed.

·    Life of Salvation (Part II) – this is the second part of a two part series in teaching what it

means to live a life of salvation. Salvation is one of the reason we

surrendered our lives to Christ, because of the promise that God will

grant us salvation if we faithful and endure. As we work to exercise and workout

our salvation, let us live a life worthy of God’s Salvation
