  • Jesus at the Well, 8/7/22

Be refreshed with the truths of Jesus who said to the woman at the well, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” -John 4:13-14

  • The Lord's Eternal Quest: The Redemption of Sinners

We just wrapped up a week of Vacation Bible School based on Jonah so Pastor Darrell reviews how the book of Jonah informs us that God does not disown us when we are reluctant to obey, but instead, moves toward us in grace. Marvel, once again, at the story of Jonah in which God saves those who run from Him - Jonah, his shipmates, and even the people of Nineveh who were Israel's enemies. Be encouraged to more readily worship, obey, and repent in light of God's grace.

  • Remember! 7/17/22

As we look at Exodus 20:1-2, we see that we are called to remember that the God who gives commands is the God who is also in a relationship with His people and frees them from slavery to sin. His commands are gracious as they show us how to live in a manner consistent with His design for us. May we be encouraged to remember these things and to give ourselves to the One who gave Himself to us.

  • The Blood of the Lamb, 7/3/22

We continue on in our study of The God of Exodus: The One Who Delivers Us and Leads Us Into Freedom. Today we study Exodus 12 and the account of the Passover and the 10th plague--the killing of the firstborn in Egypt. We learn that our only hope for the freedom, deliverance, and salvation that the Lord gives, is for the blood of the Lamb to be applied to our lives.

  • Why This Way, Lord? 6/19/22

God could've rescued His people from Egypt any way He wanted, so why did He use the plagues? What does His rescue in this way mean to us? In Exodus 7-12, we see that one of the main reasons was for His glory so that His people would know and tell the next generation. Be encouraged to be His people who are not hardened by sin as Pharoah was, but instead know and trust the one, true, powerful God.

  • The God of Exodus: The One Who Delivers us and Leads Us Into Freedom

In Exodus 6, we get to know God as a God who sees, hears, knows, and answers the distress of His people. While this is good news for our hearts, we are called to accept that He keeps His promises in His way and in His time. Be encouraged today as we consider how God came through on His promises to His people as He rescued them out of Egypt and He has come through on His promises to His people as He rescued us from sin through His Son, Jesus.
