God’s Word And Daily Prayer For Today

When the people that should have been happy that the Gentiles were also being filled with the Holy Ghost as well as they were some criticized Peter. He explained to them that God had done this and made it clear to him not to stand against it but to embrace it. With this clarity the true believers accepted with gladness God’s decision.

We learn here an example of godly wisdom. Jesus chose a man born blind and of a common life to perform a miracle. So we see here that socio-economic status in life doesn’t move God; but faith in him is what moves him. The chosen people of God, it seems, are the ones that complained and still complain about who, what, where, and how God chooses to demonstrate his love and compassion.

And even until these days our Lord Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, the propitiation for the sins humanity, that has provided opportunity to humanity to live life in abundance is still rejected. But woe to them that reject Him. Please don’t turn Him away!!

This is a demonstration of the power that God has made available to those that will live according to the will of God. How awesome it is that God has provided humanity with divine power but humanity continues to let Satan manipulate it to the point that we are where we are, spiritually. Isn’t it a shame what we, the people of God have access to and won’t use it or don’t qualify to use it?

Here we are in the New Testament era; but just like in the Old Testament, satan, the enemy of God is still at work. That is turning people away from following the plan of God. Jesus came to the chosen people of God and they rejected him. Because of that God after the death of our risen Lord, Jesus Christ, sent another comforter, the Holy Ghost, also unto the gentile people, because His own rejected him.

Here we find another warning from God to his people to maintain their obedience to his plan of salvation. God here reminds the people that they were following the wisdom of the generations before them. Robbing God by forsaking to follow his command of giving back to him, through the church, the tithe or the tenth and an offering of our earnings we are in disobedience.

Here we learn what love is and how love really works. God is allowing the prophet to tell the priest that even though his people are filthy in sin he will provide the opportunity to be washed clean from sin by the coming Messiah who will vouch for us against Satan before God.

Consistency is one of the greatest attributes of God. He always has warned before his sending destruction and devastation. Destruction and devastation would only visit the people of God after constant disrespect and and disobedience to him.

Again here we see the agape’ love if God at work . So let’s remember that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. What he has said to one has said to all. That is, in part at least, when God sends a warning for his people to correct and amend their ways by way of repentance and they fail he will send destruction.

This prophecy is a warning to those then and now, that took then and take advantage now of God’s people. Because they manipulated and illegally took possession of God’s people’s property and possessions they did then and will now reap what they have sown.
