Going All In

I know I have said this ALOT- But this may just be one of my favorite episodes! Are you struggling to find the boldness to share the gospel of Jesus with others, or find it hard to defend your faith? Let me be the first to tell you that your own ability does not make you capable! God’s power working THROUGH you makes you capable of sharing and defending your faith. Kyle and I get real about an experience we had during Passion 2022 and it has increased my boldness and faith- I hope it does yours too! Be bold and GO!

Welcome back to podcast! We hope you all had a great Christmas. Now it is time to look forward to the new year and all that God is going to do in 2022!! We are diving into Hosea and Psalms in this episode. Open your bibles and look to scripture with us as we talk about the call to repentance, obedience, and trusting God! 

Last Friday night Kyle and I had the opportunity to volunteer at our church's middle school lock in. There was so much we learned from the kids, and we thought we would share our experience. It went from a night we were dreading to a night we won't forget-simply because God showed up. These middle schoolers were bold! We hope you are encouraged by our reflection of what happened last weekend! 

On this week of the Going All In podcast, we are leaving you with a short episode to solely challenge your perspective of what it truly means to give it all up for Jesus. Though it is short, we encourage you to think about this for the rest of the week! What does it truly mean to give it all up for Jesus? 

Have you ever read the parable of the talents in the book of Matthew? Three servants were each given a certain amount of talents. Two of them were faithful with what they were given, but one hid what they were given. What are you doing with what you have? Each of us are so unique, completely crafted in the image of God. He has given us gifts, characteristics, abilities, and opportunities to further His kingdom! Lets be faithful with what He has given us. 

IT’s almost the NEW YEAR! Although it’s only Thanksgiving week, have you thought about your word for 2022? Maybe it’s not a word, but something God is calling you to pursue! Either way, we want to encourage you to take some time to think about the new year ahead and the fresh start we are given!! What is your word? What is God putting on your heart for the new year? If you don’t know, take some time to ask God what it is!! Thank you for listening and happy thanksgiving week!

In this episode of the podcast, Kyle and  Allie discuss grace and its role in us living holy, righteous lives, that are pleasing to God. At the end of the day, that is what we long for as followers of Jesus. We give some context to what holiness and grace mean. As the new year is right around the corner, holiness has been heavy on our hearts. Join us over these next six weeks in pursing the things of God and prepare the way for the great things He is doing. 

In this episode, Kyle and Allie discuss the love language of quality time and how it pertains to Jesus. Not only do we talk about what quality time with Jesus is, but also what it does for us (a LOT) AND what our day to day quality time with Jesus looks like. Our encouragement is this: quality time with Jesus is really good. If you've fallen out of spending time with Jesus, we hope this challenges you to get back into it. If your Jesus time is on point, then we hope this was solid affirmation. GO ALL IN for Jesus!!
