For a travel podcast that started mid-pandemic, we've largely tried to avoid addressing COVID head-on. We thought we all could use a little bit of a break, and pandemic-related travel news changes so quickly.
But as countries around the world continue to lift restrictions and surges seem to be declining, Marjorie reflects on how the past two years of staying put have affected her as well as her hopes and fears around hitting the road again. We round it all out with some tips for traveling safely once 'pandemic' becomes 'endemic.'

It may not have European train travel's punctuality or East Asian train travel's speed (and punctuality), but there's something about America's Amtrak. We love train travel at Going Out Your Door, and in this episode we're digging into all things Amtrak so you're prepped to ride the rails on your next North American adventure.
