In the last 8:15 service of the year, Malcolm draws inspiration from a Christmas sermon of Martin Luther.

The recording from the whole of our carol service, with all of the readings, carols and message.

At our carol service, Malcolm reminds us of all the surprises of Christmas, and asks what the greatest gift we could receive would be...

As we draw closer to Christmas, we examine another of the characters surrounding Jesus' birth, and someone who would be a signpost to Jesus for his whole life: John the Baptist. So how can we make sure our lives point to Jesus?

The final part of our Advent series in our 8:15 services, and Malcolm explores the important role that Mary had in preparing the way for Jesus.

In the next part of our 'Compass of Christmas' series, we explore John the Baptist and his contribution to God's big story as a signpost to Jesus.

What does it mean that in Jesus light has entered the darkness? What does it mean that this light can never be overcome by darkness? In the first of a few messages exploring the prologue of John's Gospel, Dave explores these amazing words, and what it means we have to hold onto when we find ourselves in the midst of darkness.

Would we allow our lives to be changed completely in just one dream like Joseph? Would we allow our hearts to be broken so much like Mary? As we carry on looking at the characters surrounding Jesus' birth, we are encouraged and inspired by His earthly parents, and consider the challenge they present to us.

As we continue to explore those things and people which pointed to Jesus' first coming, we come to the Scriptures themselves, and Malcolm unpacks how Jesus meets the needs of the Old Testament, fulfils its promises and is the solution to the problem it introduces to us.

What promises has God made to you, through His word and by His Spirit? It can be so easy to lose hope in what God has promised to us, but tonight Jude reminds us that in Christ we see the absolute 'Yes!' to all God's promises. So will we add our 'Yes!' to His?
