God's Great Purpose in the World (23) Malcolm Duncan teaching from Isaiah. Although many of Isaiah’s prophecies were fulfilled in Jesus, and the New Testament references Isaiah more than any other OT prophet, he also spoke God’s word to the people of his own day. However, he also foretold a bright future as God would not forget His covenant made to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David, would spare a remnant of the nation of Israel, from which would come the Messiah and His new kingdom.

God's Great Purpose in the World (22) Malcolm Duncan teaching from Hosea. Hosea was an Old Testament prophet, who communicated God’s message/warning to Israel (and us!). He reminds us of God’s loyalty through the parallel of a long-suffering husband with an unfaithful wife. God’s love is steadfast and his forgiveness unending in spite of Israel’s (and our) frequent lack of commitment to Him.
