Episode 17 starts off dark, but that's O.K. because golf is a tough game and we all go through some dark moments. What's important is what you do to bring yourself back to the light. In this episode, Mike and Donovan have a bit of a therapy session and hopefully, Donovan's story can help you if you every find yourself in a dark space (which you will, because golf is a tough game!).
Donovan and Mike also spend sometime looking at the last area of their the preseason breakdown: off the tee. Are they going to swing easy to keep the ball in play or are they swinging for the fences to set up the sand wedge approach? Tune in to find out!
Our preseason breakdown continues with a fun look at a one of the most important and difficult aspects of the game: the approach. We break down the things we are working on, struggling with and looking forward too. This episode is like a nice, smooth, full swing pitching wedge, which you pinch with a nice divot that lands just past the pin, takes one hop, and then checks back for a nice 6ft birdie putt.... Sweet! Enjoy!
Our first One Shot Wonder story comes from a college buddy named Dan. When we reached out on Facebook for hole in one stories, Dan was one of the first people to reply, and we are glad he did. Dan tells a great story about his double-rare, birthday hole in one. Enjoy our first One Shot Wonder!
The GCC boys are back at it again! Another fantastic episode where Mike and Donovan get down to the details about their chipping and pitching (What even is the difference between chipping and pitching...full disclosure: you won't find the answer in this episode. Just google it).
