  • Dan Edwards of TheHackersParadise.com

This week's guest is Dan Edwards of TheHackersParadise.com's show Range Days and podcast Off Course.

We talk about both of the shows, how he got involved with THP, when he became obsessed with golf gear, and when and why he fell in love with the game of golf.

For those of you on Twitter, I highly recommend giving Dan a follow at @Canadan. He's definitely as golf obsessed as the rest of us.

You can follow me on Twitter at @KrisMcEwen and Instagram at @KrisMcEwen.

    As always, thanks for listening!

You can follow Michael on Twitter @VGolfman and find out more about Callaway Golf's Distance Fitting program at CallawayGolf.com.

Rick Oldach is currently the CEO of Big Max USA, but he's had quite the overall golf career.

He's also a prolific list-maker. Whether it be movies, golf courses, directors, or architects, Bryan has a list for any and all of it.

We talk about his love and lists, how he goes about ranking movies and golf courses, and, of course, when he fell in love with the game of golf.

This week's guest is Golflogix Co-Founder, Pete Charleston.

We talk about the amazing, new yardage books Golflogix has rolled out this year, the origins of the company itself, and, of course, when and why Pete fell in love with the game of golf.

You can check out the yardage books and get one for your favorite course at Golflogix.com.

As always, thanks for listening! And, if you have a story you'd like to share, you can let me know on Twitter @KrisMcEwen, or at my website, www.krismcewen.com/golforiginstories.

  • Patrick Mannelly

My guest this week is nothing short of a Chicago legend. Patrick Mannelly was the long snapper for the Chicago Bears for 16 years. It's an unheard-of length of time not just for a professional football player, but even more so for a long snapper. In fact, Patrick was so good at his job, it's quite possible you have never even heard his name.

More importantly, Patrick is as golf obsessed as the rest of us. To the point that he's built himself a little indoor driving range in his garage at home.

We talk about his NFL career, his beer collaboration with Tighthead Brewing, and, of course, when and why he fell in love with the game of golf.

    As always, thanks for listening.

  • Adam Rehberg of Bridgestone Golf

Adam Rehberg is the Ball Fitting Manager for Bridgestone Golf, but that's not where we start in our conversation. Based on a Twitter meme that was going around, we had to start with his first job in high school because I had no idea such a job existed.

From there we talk about his actual career, including how he eventually made his way to Bridgestone Golf, and, of course, when he fell in love with the game of golf.

If you do nothing else after this episode, go watch Adam's "Golfers in a Lawn Mower Talking Golf in a Tree House", it is absolutely fantastic.

You can follow Adam on Twitter @RehBirdie and on Instagram @RehBirdie.

As always, you can find me on Twitter @KrisMcEwen and Instagram @KrisMcEwen.

    Thanks so much for listening!

  • Cassie Bausch of Club Champion

My guest this week is one of my favorite people in the golf world. Cassie Bausch is the Social Media Manager (job one of many) for Club Champion, but also one of the original members of the #GolfChat group on Twitter.

We talk all about Club Champion and the value they provide to golfers, her unabashed love of all things WWE, and as always, when and how she fell in love with the game of golf.

You can follow her on Twitter @GolfbandWagoner and Instagram @NotThatNorris.

As always, if you have a Golf Origin Story to tell, you can follow me on Instagram and Twitter @KrisMcEwen or head over to my website at krismcewen.com/golforiginstories.

    Thanks again for listening!

  • Adam Fonseca of The Golf Unfiltered Podcast

Adam Fonseca, otherwise known as @GolfUnfiltered on Twitter, and I go back quite a few years. He may have actually been my first golf blog pal when I first started writing about the game.

And today's episode pretty much sounds like two friends talking about the game they love and a little bit of life itself. Somehow Adam even turns the tables on me and gets me to talk about my kids a little bit. Such a veteran podcaster move!

Check out Adam's long-running podcast, Golf Unfiltered, as well as his website full of his own golf thoughts and reviews at GolfUnfiltered.com.

Thanks, as always, for listening! If you like the show, please subscribe, rate, and leave a review!

  • Drew Holcomb

On this week's episode, I get to share my love of music and golf with the immensely talented Drew Holcomb.

Drew and I talk about the band's latest album, Dragons, the songwriting process, his musical influences, those fantastic Kitchen Covers he and his wife, Ellie, have been doing every night, and, of course, when he fell in love with golf and why he loves it so much.

I cannot recommend enough that you head over to Drew's YouTube channel and check out his music video for his song Family, as well as listen to at least a few (if not all) of the Kitchen Covers. You should also go find the new album, Dragons, and listen to it in its entirety. It's so good.

You can also follow Drew on Twitter @DrewHolcomb.

As always, if you have a golf origin story you would like to share, you can let me know on Twitter @KrisMcEwen or send me a note through my website, KrisMcEwen.com/GolfOriginStories.

    Thanks again for listening.
