Just a short grounding meditation if you feel you need to check in to the present moment. 

Do you feel like you've grown apart from a close relationship?  Romantic, or platonic? When we change part of a system, we change the whole system.  That's not necessarily bad, although our minds tell us that the comfort is in the way things used to be. 

FOO - Family Of Origin.  Such a crucial topic that I don't think we spend enough time talking about.  Learning about our family of origin and the attachment styles that gave us is crucial to learning about why and how we interact with the world today.  The more we know, the more freedom we can gain to live in the present, free of past experience.  

Death is coming for us all.  That fear underlies all other fears that we face while alive.  If we can find a way to make peace with that fear, we can live more fully now. 

Do you feel like a big baby sometimes?  I say be a big baby.  Babies have insight into the world that we have lost since our turn at being a baby.  We can regain that insight into the moment by being a big baby today.  Experience life as a baby.  It's wondrous. 

Here we are again, posting shares from elsewhere,  because it's the easiest thing to do.  This has a slight focus on step 4.  And sounds very much like all the other ones.  

The brain is the center of smartness, right?  Duh, it's where all the common and uncommon sense comes from.  It put a man on the moon.  It's exploring Mars.  It created a way to conveniently poop in my warm house and then watch the poop go bye-bye.  Yet, the brain is an idiot. 

Here we are again, with me just posting a message I shared in an online meeting because sometimes that easier than having to record something else.  2 birds, 1 stone. 

Do you stuff your feelings?  Do you deny your feelings?  Do you push your feelings aside?  Do you use some coping skill that has negative consequences for your life when you experience feelings?  These methods might protect you.  But feelings are meant to be felt.  That is the entirety of their purpose.  

Do you have a one track mind at times?  Tunnel vision?  Can only see a situation from one particular view?  It's interesting that sometimes our solutions require us to see from a different perspective than we are used to.
