Big T gives us his very first Spit’s Hits with a banger of an album. We dug deep all week on the San Antonio Spurs rise to relevance without a single All Star on the roster before we discuss the Utah Jazz/ Philly 6ers game that ended up with Embiid dropping 40 points in a Philly win but a bit… suspect referee calls in the 6ers favor. Next is Players of the Month for each conference and Mike Conley in his first All Star Game before we dissect Team Bron and Team KD picks. Following ASG coverage, we look at who is the least and most clutch teams this season in crunch time. Both might surprise you and we have statistics analysis to back it up before we wrap up on the weekly State of the Kings by T and State of the Lakers by AG. Bonus segment at the end where I cover how Free throws attempted has been attached at the hip to MVP talk in the past 5 years and why along with Harden’s number being retired by Houston. Its mandatory at this point but Sacramento, Fire Luke Walton and hire Becky Hammond.

Finally back to normal mic qualities (extra brispy) as AG is joined by new weekend cohost Trent Franks (@trentfranks) for a look at if the Bucks hopes for the Finals have already ended and what the team needs to make it out a Eastern Conference that gets deeper by the day. After we go over Zion WIlliamson and if the hype he received coming into the NBA was warranted. His New Orleans Pelicans lost a close one to the Bucks earlier this week but NOLA was missing something that we mention before going into Fantasy NBA lineups in a not so closely fought battle between Trent and AG. Lastly we wrap up in the usual manner with games on the horizon and the current state of Trent's Sacramento Kings and AG's LA Lakers. Great way to end a tough month of moving for AG and we're looking forward March.

Joined by new weekend episode guest Trent Franks! He tells us about coming up in the Humboldt art scene and his roots to the Sacramento Kings before we dive into the dunk of the year candidate by Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards. After that AG is Team Bron and Trent is Team KD in the All Star Game mock draft where we pick our favorite players to go against one another for the upcoming game on Sunday March 7th. We wrap up the episode in our normal way with games to look forward to in the coming days and put some money on the line for our game of the weekend.

Minor technical difficulties but we are back for good! AG returns to Spit's Hits with a classic 2000s comedy Malibu's Most Wanted before covering the Nets vs Lakers game from last night. An inside prospective from a laker fan on what the Lakers loss means in the big picture of the season. After we preview the All Star Game's starters who were recently announced before covering the Eastern Conference's top dogs having trouble dealing with the Western Conference in recent road trips.. except for 1 team who could outlast them all to reach the Finals. Some audio was lost in the process so there are some hiccups with mic quality, but we are now back to our regularly scheduled programming. -AG

A long week of no episodes ends tonight! AG picks right back up on Spit's Greatest Hits with a review of Homeshake's album Fresh Air followed up by takeaways from the Kong v Godzilla trailer. Back to hoops after that with PACK WATCH and sparking up Mavericks OG and that Miami HEAT. Next we dissect the clippers and their play as of late with some resemblances to the Boston Celtics before we go over the league's stars reaction to the All Star game and AG's Picks from each conference. We wrap up by covering Super Bowl Prop bets in anticipation of Super Bowl Sunday!

Ricky gives us his top 3 horror films all time and talk about the direction of modern horror with me, AG. After that we talk about how nothing's quite the same as Covid Vegas from what he has seen in a recent trip. Later on we talk sports gambling and what he has been noticing across UFC in terms of what happened to McGregor to whos in line to take the champion spot with Khabib retired. Starting off with a new segment called Spit's Hits, AG covers the album of the week along with a bonus movie of the week (favorite miyazaki film) before we dive into the normal episode topics. AG then covers Lebron James rise to be the favorite or runner up for MVP in most sportsbooks. Clutch is a word thrown around a lot but AG gets to his pick for clutchest NBA duo currently.. Lastly we talk a bit about Utah Jazz Basketball and how they have been rattling off wins to grow their current win streak to 9 (Leads league) followed by some  fleeting thoughts and what fills my NBA notebook.
