LA punk rock producer to the stars! Geza X, is truly punk rock royalty!  He's produced tracks and records for the Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, The Germs, The Wierdos, and so many more.  

But we're not talking about any of that great work! 

We're talking about his fantastically unique and strange album 'You Goddamn Kids'.  Released in 1982 on his own Final Gear record label.  The album features a host of the LA scene's finest freaks and has some of the catchiest earworms. 'You Goddamn Kids' is a classic punk record that deserves more praise!  Its loud, aggressive, hilarious, and sounds like nothing else you'll hear from that era.

Episode 10 features a wonderfully enlightening interview with filmmaker Damon Packard.  We discuss his films, his feelings on George Lucas, and what exactly it takes to get a lifetime ban from Universal Studios.  

 

Damon Packard stands alone in the cinema world.  His work speaks for itself and really exhibits what a person with no budget but big ideas can accomplish.

What's to be said about Heavy Metal Parking Lot?  Well, it's infinitely entertaining, crude and also hilarious.  The more conservative might find it appalling.  Me...I think it's an important documentation of a subculture that really does not exist much these days.  Don't get wrong though, it does make me laugh and it really triggers my urge to drink.
