Items you may want to use but not required: Lavender oil, Incense, 3 Candles, and a Pillow or Blanket
Items required: A piece of paper, A quiet space, a bowl of water, and yourself.
Step one: Go to the room of your choice, grab your journal or piece of paper, and your small-medium size bowl of water. 2-3 cups of water will do. (If you can, say a blessing over the water.) If you have other items, gather your items like your pillow, candles, incense. If you have lavender oil, put 3-5 drops in the small-medium sized bowl.
Step two: Put on the meditation music above, light the candles and incense (if you have it). Then, journal about something you desperately want in your life. Write down any emotion that comes up. Anger, disappointment, rage, confusion, frustration, etc. Leave nothing out. Do this for 5-10 minutes while the music is playing.
Step three: Allow the music to keep playing but stop writing.
Step four: Cleanse your energy. Picture Divine Light cycling through your energy system (from the crown of your head, down your spine, through your legs, through your feet, down into the Earth). Do this three times.
Step five: Dab the water on your forehead, on your throat, on your head and lastly on both of your feet. This is a blessing from the Divine.
Step six: Sit cross-legged or on your knees.
Step seven: Then whatever it was you wrote on the paper, speak it. Say it. If you need someone to focus the energy on, speak it towards the lighted candles or towards the window with the light spilling in. Let out anything you want to say. This is your moment to breakdown. This is the sacred storm inside of you the Universe wants to calm, but before it can do that, it needs you to acknowledge its presence. Acknowledge it is in control. Use this moment to release your control of the situation. You can speak for as long as you like. 10 minutes or an hour.
