Hey there Guys and Dolls! Listen here see, its time for another good old fashioned episode of the Good Enough Gaming Podcast see. Yeah, just us 4 wise-guys over here having a laugh talking some sense to the masses. This week all you cool Cats get to listen to us josh about Spider-Noir the latest Nic Cage infused, Amazon Prime with ads filled Marvel of a show that will get your head right spinning a web. See what I did there, ha ha ha. So join us as we take a trip to the past, but also look to the future of what could possibly be in store for the detective webslinging drunk, that is Ben Reilly and the colorful (or not so colorful) cast of misfit experiments gone wrong. Sling yourself your favorite beverage, kick up your loafers and relax as we let Kyle gush about Nic Cage once again!
Well we have been on the air long enough, and have hit that creative board room meeting moment, that this episode will be a musical….appreciation episode (Nobody wants to hear Darrell sing). We have all played those games or watched those movies where the music has you looking up the artists, downloading the files off Limewire, getting the wrong music file and then starting the search all over again. Sorry maybe that was generational for us, but you know what we are talking about. The music in games and movies that helped shape your musical tastes for years to come. There are some absolute banger soundtracks out there and we want to share some of these with you, and also here what shaped you through the media as well! So get your headphones adjusted to the appropriate volume, knock the amper-sand out of your ears and indulge in the melodic madness with us here in the studio today!
If you didn't know that we are all huge fans of Japan, japanese culture and its cuisine, you are about to hear us gush for an hour about it. The game we are discussing today is set in Japan, and we couldnt be more stoked about that choice. The absence of a good arcade style racing game has been felt for awhile here and Forza 6 has been the cure. We will be discussing the cars, the map, the music, the feel, and the overall ups and downs of Playground Games and Xbox Studios latest installment into the Forza Series. So put the seat belt on, get ready for a scenic and picturesque experience that will leave you with a with a smile on your face and if your lucky only a little bit of whiplash. Vroooooom!!
Just when you thought life couldn't get any more violent and driven in conflict, it Konveniently Kulminates into another action packed film for the ages that we can actually enjoy. Yes thats right this is Kombat we actually want to be a part of. All the Blood, Sweat and Fatalities has paid off yet again, with the second installment of the new Mortal Kombat franchise. Now while there were no specialty popcorn buckets or cup bought by Darrell (even though he intended to) there were still many moments for Fans to celebrate and be grateful for. We have been unCaged, so cinch up that headband, pull out your finest kunai, input the right codes, blast that iconic song and get ready for the most iconic fight of your life, or just listen. Whatever works! GET OVER HERE!
Holy sh*t we are back for Season 10! 180+ Episodes have been uploaded to the internet already and that is so crazy to us here at GEG. Who knew so many of you would still be here with us on this ridiculously awesome ride, and to celebrate the start of season 10, we had to bring back our amazing friends and guests to talk about the ever exciting (and now Edmonton Oiler Free) event in Edmonton this June, and that is GameCon Canada 2026!! So in GameCon-clusion, let's get started with this episode and our very special guests that somehow still want to join us (now in our recluse basement studio) Chris and Marc! Let's Go!
Imagine your in a board room and the head of the table says everyone shout out your favorite games, and your favorite things in game, and they make a list of those things and then decide that 80% of that list is going to be put into one singular title. Well we hypothesize that something very similar to this happened and caused the fruition of Crimson Desert. Take Skyrim, Breath of the Wild, Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA and a few other games and roll them all into a multi-faceted, medieval based, third person massive open adventure game and you have the latest internet craze and meta gaming sensation. With a bunch of variety from the battle mechanics and mount types, you know the GEG boys had to take a look at this one, because Dragons and Science! So get your gear on, and get ready to grapple your way through this unchartered adventure with us this week.
You know what really grinds our gears… Well lots of things if you have been listening for a few seasons at minimum, but one thing in particular this week that we wanted to discuss is the amount of leaked info that comes out about games and movies, that basically at times defeats the desire to even play after watching. What ever happened to good old fashioned surprises? Does anyone even like fun anymore? Its honestly getting a little ridiculous. So hear us out as we not only rip into the marketing choices of many large scale operations, but also give flowers to those that have spread the crumbs ever so perfectly to keep the consumer excited and anticipating a release for the individual reveal experience.Be sure to check out our new merch shop to support the pod!

The roads that were paved by their predecessors have been repaved and given new structure (some for the better, and some for the worse). We here at GEG have this lovely thing called an opinion, so pump the brakes before you come at us, as we discuss the future of the arcade/sim racing games landscape. Forza 6 has more gameplay footage posted, and this has us as well as many other gamers wondering what this means as a whole for this particular genre. So crack open a NOS and lets go for a Test Drive on this uncharted Track of thoughts from the Crew here in the Underground recording studio. Zoom Zoom!
Have you ever just marveled at the creation of a character in a game, to the point that this character lives rent free in your head for a long time? Not talking exclusively about gooning over a character here, as sometimes this character design and choice is the absolute worst inclusion and off putting mess that can distract from the game overall. So today we wanted a chance to celebrate the winning formulas, complain and make fun of the questionable choices that we have come across, and maybe make a few jokes about it as we go. Its about to get real controversial here, real quick.
We here at Good Enough Gaming are always wondering what happens in board room meetings at these large companies and how certain decisions are made. The ongoing conclusions are that these people should include us in their meetings so that they might make some decisions that actually benefit gamers and consumers and not just the investors. But before we get on a huge rant about corporate greed, lets discuss what this is really about, and that is the rise of another extraction shooter game coming from the esteemed Bungie studios in Marathon. Will this game meet expectations and thrive, or is this another game that will succumb to the demise if others like it competing for a market that might not accept it at all. This should get explosive, a little soapboxy, and probably full of us making fun of certain games that have flopped horribly in the last few years. Welcome to the sh*tshow!
