Happy New Year! The first week of 2024 is slow and steady. We get into: how starting something new requires actually closing the door on that last chapter, Venus square Saturn as a bummer for love but great news for skincare, and the charisma of Mars in Capricorn.

It's the final forecast of 2023! We get into: (literal) hot tips for getting through the tense aspects of Christmas, the empowering but super emotional Full Moon in Cancer, Mercury's dangerous dance with Neptune and Mars, the return to hope and optimism with Jupiter direct, and why you should go out earlier in the weekend and stay home on New Year's Eve.

It's the week of the solstice y'all! There's a lot happening this week as Mercury retrograde allows us to go back and rework the plan while Venus opposite Uranus shakes things up. We get into: Venus-Uranus aspects and shifting desires, Winter as the most optimistic season, and how to remediate the Moon's tough spot on Christmas Eve and Day.

The New Moon in Sagittarius is a blunt reset but Mercury retrograde begins the next day and says "not so fast." We get into: the promising fresh start of 2024, the final degrees of Sagittarius and resilience, and the "rough patch" and "joy chamber" of this week.

It's Venus in Scorpio time. We might think of Venus in Scorpio as the epitome of dramatic mood swings, and over the top sexy emotional lyricism (a la Canadian rapper Aubrey Graham), but I found in my research that it's really just the placement of pretty much every famous film director of the 20th Century. This is a very Venusian week. Great for reflecting on 2023 and thinking about what you want in 2024.

Holy Full Moon in Gemini. This week's Full Moon is chaotic, confusing and not at all subtle. After the chaos comes clarity though. We get into: Venus conjunct the south node's implications for making perfect pop songs straight out of the womb, Mercury in Capricorn as the "How Do You Do Fellow Kids?" meme; and this week's intense Venusian aspects as opportunities for compromise and peace.

This week’s forecast has a New Moon in Scorpio, the Sun facing off with Uranus, a sweet Mercury-Venus connection that carries us through the next few weeks, plus Mars going into the heart of the Sun as both connect with imaginative and hazy Neptune. Motivations get a hard reset this week, and there some cute moments to launch/announce/generally have a good time. Welcome to an intense but sweet spot of November 2023!
New Moon in Scorpio
It’s time to change up the strategy! Leaving a very watery few weeks means channeling more air and fire. We get into: Saturn in Pisces stationing direct as the call to choose a path; Venus finally back in business after being reborn and then struggling since June; Venus in Libra as the provocative diplomat; Mercury in Sagittarius as the blunt genius; Mars opposite Uranus as a call to say “feel your feelings but don’t get caught in that SWAMP again.”
We’re out of eclipse season but that doesn’t mean things will be anymore “chill.” We get into: all the Scorpio planets facing off with Uranus over the next few weeks, Venus trine Uranus as the “we’re pivoting!” queen; Jupiter is the closest to Earth it will be all year!; Venus opposite Neptune as blessing and curse; and Saturn stationing direct as a call to “get serious.”
