What does it really mean when we say God is love? In this message from our "God Is..." series, Pastor Mike Newcomb explores how God's love goes far beyond the world's definition of love as simply a feeling, tolerance, or approval. God doesn't just show love. God IS love! In this opening message of our new series, God Is..., Pastor Mike Jurek explores the incredible depth of God's love and what it means for our lives. Through Scripture, we discover that God's love is perfect, unconditional, and trustworthy. He demonstrated just how much He values us by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the ultimate price for our redemption.

God loves us right where we are, but His love doesn't leave us there. His desire is to transform our lives, heal our brokenness, and draw us into a deeper relationship with Him. A real relationship with the living God is a call to action! In Part 4 of our Vision Series, Pastor Mike Jurek challenges us to step out in faith, trust God's calling, and serve Him with obedience and a willing heart. Through the stories of Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Gideon, and Elisha, we discover that God doesn't call only those who feel qualified or prepared. He equips those who are willing to follow Him. Whether we feel inadequate, face opposition, or find ourselves in difficult circumstances, our responsibility is to trust God and remain faithful to His calling.

In Part 3 of the Vision Series, Pastor Daniel Stevens continues the vision of Good Hope Church with “Rise Up.” A real relationship with the living God changes us. As we spend time with Christ, we become more like Christ, growing in our faith and discovering the freedom, joy, peace, and purpose that are available through Him.

A real relationship with the living God has the power to transform your life! In Part 3 of our Fall 2026 Vision Series, Pastor Mike Jurek shares how growing closer to Jesus leads us into true freedom, abundant life, and lasting spiritual growth. Through Scripture, we discover that the patterns of our past don't have to determine our future. In Part 2 of the Fall 2026 Vision Series, Pastor Daniel Stevens focuses on “Reach Up” and the importance of developing a real, personal relationship with God. We don’t have to simply wonder whether God is real. We can encounter Him by reading about Jesus, asking God to reveal Himself, and approaching Him with faith.

Through the story of the woman who reached out and touched Jesus, Pastor Daniel shows how faith can transform an ordinary moment into a powerful encounter with God. Jesus didn’t just care about her healing. He took time to remind her of her identity as a daughter and showed that God cares about every part of our lives. Our pursuit of God is never finished. We continue reading His Word, asking Him to reveal more of Himself, and responding in faith.
