  • Fall 2026 Vision Series - Part 2 (Pastor Mike Newcomb)

In Part 2 of the Vision Series, Pastor Mike Newcomb shares the heart behind “Reach Up,” reminding us that a real, personal relationship with the living God is available to everyone. Rather than simply wondering if God is real, we are invited to encounter Him personally and experience His presence in our lives.

Pastor Mike shares practical ways we can pursue that relationship: ask God to reveal Himself, spend time reading and applying His Word, and have faith to receive what He wants to do in our lives. God reveals Himself through creation, Scripture, and the ways He moves around us. As we intentionally pursue Jesus and position ourselves to encounter Him, we can grow in a genuine relationship with God and receive from Him by faith.

  • Fall 2026 Vision Series - Part 2 (Pastor Mike Jurek)

In Part 2 of the Vision Series, Pastor Mike Jurek continues with “Reach Up,” reminding us that a real relationship with the living God is available to each of us. God doesn’t want us simply wondering if He is real. He invites us to encounter Him personally, grow in our faith, and experience His presence and power throughout our lives.

Pastor Mike encourages us to begin by getting to know Jesus through His Word, asking God to reveal Himself personally, and combining that pursuit with faith. Through the story of the woman who reached out to Jesus in faith, we see the difference between simply being near Jesus and intentionally pursuing Him with expectation. God desires more than a momentary encounter. He wants an ongoing relationship with us as our God and Father. As we spend time in His Word, look for His work in our lives, and continue growing in faith, we can recognize what He is doing and give Him glory.

  • Steps to Family Reconciliation (Guest Speaker: Bishop Michael Grant)

In this powerful message, guest speaker Bishop Michael Grant explores the steps toward family reconciliation through the story of Joseph and his brothers in Genesis 43. Though their family had experienced years of betrayal, hurt, separation, and broken trust, God was already at work creating an opportunity for restoration.

As Joseph welcomes his brothers to the table, we see that reconciliation is often a process that requires grace, patience, generosity, and a willingness to move beyond the wounds of the past. Bishop Grant challenges us to consider the broken relationships in our own lives and how God may be calling us to take intentional steps toward forgiveness, healing, and restored family relationships.

  • Fall 2026 Vision Series - Part 1 (Pastor Mike Newcomb)

In Part 1 of our Vision Series, Pastor Mike Newcomb shares the heart behind where Good Hope Church has been and where God is leading us next. At the center of everything we do is real ministry: helping people connect with God, grow in their faith, and make a difference in the lives of others.

Our vision is simple: Reach Up, Rise Up, Reach Out. We reach up by pursuing a real relationship with the living God. We rise up as that relationship transforms who we are. And we reach out by putting our faith into action. Pastor Mike also introduces Good Hope’s core values and the importance of equipping people to grow, serve, build meaningful community, and prepare the next generation to carry the Gospel forward.

As we look toward 2026 and beyond, our prayer is to see more people reached, more lives changed, and more communities impacted by the hope of Jesus.

  • 1 Corinthians - Part 12: Resurrection (Pastor Daniel Stevens)

In the final message of our 1 Corinthians series, Pastor Daniel Stevens takes us through 1 Corinthians 15 and the hope we have in the resurrection. Because Jesus was raised from the dead, those who belong to Him can look forward to a future beyond this temporary, perishable life. Just as Christ was raised with a glorified body, believers will one day be changed and receive an imperishable, spiritual body.

The resurrection of Jesus is at the very heart of our faith. Whether through resurrection or being changed when Christ returns, our hope for eternity rests completely in Him. The grave could not hold Jesus, and through Him we have the promise of salvation, resurrection, and eternal life.

  • 1 Corinthians - Part 12: Resurrection (Pastor Mike Newcomb)

In 1 Corinthians 15, Pastor Mike Newcomb reminds us of the incredible hope we have because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. His resurrection is essential to our faith, because if Christ had not been raised, our faith would be meaningless. But because He lives, we have the promise that one day we will also be raised with Him.

Our physical bodies are temporary and subject to sickness, weakness, and limitations, but God promises something greater. In Christ, we look forward to spiritual bodies free from the limitations we experience today and an eternity with Jesus. Because of that promise, we can stand firm in our faith, knowing that death does not have the final word.

  • 1 Corinthians - Part 12: Resurrection (Pastor Mike Jurek)

In 1 Corinthians 15, Pastor Mike Jurek explores one of the foundational truths of the Christian faith: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus did not simply escape death. He defeated it. His physical resurrection from the grave gives us the hope and promise that death is not the end for those who put their faith in Him.

Our earthly bodies are temporary, but through Christ we have the promise of resurrection and eternal life. One day, what is perishable will become imperishable, and believers will be changed. The empty tomb reminds us that Jesus is alive, death has been defeated, and our hope for eternity is found in Him.

  • 1 Corinthians - Part 11: Motives of the Heart (Pastor Daniel Stevens)

In Part 11 of our 1 Corinthians series, Pastor Daniel Stevens challenges us to look beyond our actions and consider what is really happening in our hearts. God sees beyond the hurt, shame, pride, and false identities we may hide behind. One day our motives will be revealed, so the question becomes: what will God find in our hearts?

As we walk through 1 Corinthians 4, we’re reminded that everything we have, from our abilities to our understanding of God, has been received from Him. Rather than allowing pride or self-judgment to define us, we are called to examine ourselves, leave the final verdict to God, and faithfully steward what He has entrusted to us. Following Christ means keeping a humble and tender heart, even when it costs us something, because knowing Christ is worth more than anything we could gain for ourselves.

  • 1 Corinthians - Part 11: Motives of the Heart (Pastor Mike Newcomb)

In this message from 1 Corinthians 4, Pastor Mike Newcomb challenges us to examine the motives behind our faith and the way we handle God’s Word. We have been entrusted with the truth of Scripture, and with that comes the responsibility to live it out faithfully, caring more about what God thinks than the approval or judgment of others.

Ultimately, God sees beyond our actions and examines the heart. Fear of what others think can lead to compromise, while pride can quietly shape our motives. As followers of Jesus, we are called to remain humble, allow God to examine our hearts, and continually ask ourselves: What is the motive of my heart?
