Pastor Jeffery talks with Dr. Roy Atwood about the Reformed Evangelical Seminary and (especially) the Weed-Choked Digital Media Landscape, following up on a recent article by Dr Atwood. Here’s a taster from the article:

“Christian community is threatened when we distort our communication or allow discord to fester in our church’s communion. To resist these twin threats to community, we must encourage communication that is personal, gracious, and accountable to the church. And we must take our church membership vows, our pledge of troth to a specific church communion and a specific group of pastors and leaders, as seriously as wedding vows. In today’s weed-choked digital media terrain, Christians bloggers and podcasters bear particular responsibility to remind our Christian readers, listeners, and viewers that they are members of a local Christian congregation and under the God-ordained shepherding authority of their own pastors and elders—not us—for their instruction and blessing.”
