Miki Jovanovic was born with a condition called congenital bilateral fibular hemimelia, which means that the lower parts of her legs did not form properly.

Her legs were amputated below the knee when she was just over a year old, and since the age of three, Miki has used prosthetics to increase her mobility.

The Good Morning Angels Fund assisted Miki with her fundraising efforts for proper prosthetic limbs, contributing R50 000 per limb.

Project Flood Relief has raised R4-million in assistance for communities in flood-ravaged areas of Limpopo and Mpumalanga, which is being distributed by Gift of the Givers. The donations for Jacaranda FM's Breakfast with Martin Bester and Good Morning Angels Project Flood Relief included tonnes of canned and dried food, baby supplies, toiletries, water and dog food, dropped off in Midrand, Mbombela, Polokwane and Tzaneen, as well as over R1-million in cash donations. Martin Bester checked in with Andru van Zyl, the 18-year-old cycling from Polokwane to Cape Town in aid of children with cancer. After finishing his final matric exams, 18-year-old Andru decided to spend his final school holiday cycling from his hometown of Polokwane in Limpopo to Cape Town on his dad’s 20-year-old bicycle.
