Matthew 28:16-20 teaches us that every disciple of Christ is called to be a disciple-maker. This call is not for a special class of Christians, it includes anyone and everyone who has encountered Christ, who has experienced His saving grace. This call is urgent. The astonishing reality is that we have been entrusted with a part in God’s mission. So this call must drive all that we do. It includes both calling people to give their lives to Christ and helping people to live their lives for Christ. Making disciples is proactive. And proactive disciple-making is a lifestyle. Radical Focus on the Bible stems from an understanding of the place that God's Word holds in our lives. Once we understand that we realize that Radical Focus means we look to the Bible as God's Word for how we are to live our lives. As we do we will more and more realize that the result is an attention to the needs of the people around us. He did not want the emotions of the moment’s feeling of guilt, fear, or desire for a better life, but a carefully thought out commitment to Him as Lord.

We have the hope that God is with us, and working for our good. And we have the hope that comes from knowing we are dearly loved by God.
