The Australian bushfire season in late '19 and early '20 was devastating, it was the worst we've seen. Throughout the devastation social media played an important part in connecting people, helping communities affected, informing the world of the extent of the fires with stories from the front lines. It also spread misinformation & negativity and also worked to stamp that out.
