Good Times & Affordable Wines Podcast Episode 12 with Welcombe Hills Vineyard.
Ahead of my first ever grape harvest at their vineyard, I asked Jonathan and Nichola Kelsey to join me and let me know what to expect. I've heard rumours of back-breaking work and snipped fingers!
Let me know in the podcast comments if you've ever done a grape harvest.
Jonathan and Nichola bought a house in Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire with a connect vineyard formally owned by William Shakespeare's family. With no experience of the wine industry, they took the plunge and bought Welcombe Hills back from the history books, as it was formally stocked in the Houses of Parliament!
If you've ever dreamed of buying a vineyard and making your own wine, then check this out. It's a very romantic story.
As always, please LIKE, SHARE and COMMENT, it really does help.

Good Times & Affordable Wines Podcast Episode 11 shows what can happen when you record a podcast live!
Exceptional Sugrue South Dowwns and Wiston Estate winemaker, Dermot Sugrue, was trying to get hold of me while I was starting our scheduled Instagram Live. He had some pretty important news... the 2020 harvest had started!
Dermot kindly still joined the conversation to let us all know what was happening and gave us the low down on the problem with early ripening grapes in the UK... the animals LOVE them.
I wanted to share this short conversation with you all, while we reschedule the podcast. Dermot is a big character and this just shows how much fun the future episode will be.
Also, please allow me to introduce a new project of mine on Instagram Live. It's called Cru Love and it's here to give YOU a platform to share YOUR news - whether it's a small business, a side hustle, a charity or something else... I'm here to help you reach a wider audience.
