Honestly I could've turned this into a 2 hours marathon, but I condensed it into about 30 minutes of me speaking from experience of posting on both platforms and which one I've enjoyed posting on the most.  Which one do you consider to be the better platform?  Why?

Like many creators, Ashley (aka @mommaad2009 on TikTok and IG) has had quite a few weird or nasty comments come through on her page on certain videos.  We all have a choice, to either react to those comments and give people the reaction they want, or we can choose to ignore and move on with our days.  It's a little harder at times depending on the comment, but then again, social media is what it is.

Ashley is very well known on TikTok and one thing that really stands out about her is her confidence and how she carries herself.  In this episode, we talk about how confidence isn't something that develops overnight and how being yourself is still the most important thing that will lead to it. 

Courtney Young is a content creator who also happens to be a singer!  This is the first time I've had an artist from the music industry on the podcast and I am so fascinated by what she had to say as far as her process of coming up with lyrics for songs.  Of course, we couldn't forget that we were original supporters of each other's accounts on TikTok and how much it means to us to show love to the people that have supported us since our very first days of joining the app.

For those of you who don't know, @.FatherTime is a master of the video edits.  His work on TikTok, whether it's collaborations with other creators, or putting together a masterpiece for New Kids on the Tok (if you know, you know!), the time, effort, and creativity shows on the daily.  In this episode, we discuss meeting for the first time in person after almost 2 years of collaborating and talking on and off social media, as well as what we love most about creating content.  

She started the dance-off between Seltzer Squad and New Kids On The Tok on TikTok.  She is an overall good human and motivating figure. Cassie Smith makes an appearance on Good Times with Jimmy to talk about how she started creating content and how it's helped with the connections she's made throughout the pandemic.  We talk about how the support of others really helps us make that impact we are looking for.  At the end of the day, Cassie and I share a common goal along with many others, helping people! 

Going live on any social media platform can do wonders for your growth especially when it comes to connecting with your audience.  Whether you want to talk about a new event coming up, a project you're working on, or if you just want to have fun, listen to music, and hang out.  On this episode, Mariah Bowen is back for another appearance as we discuss going live and other fun conversation.

Whether you want to admit this or not, being a creator has many ups and downs.  It is very much a marathon and not a sprint.  Through that marathon, there will be bumps in the road.  However, those will make you stronger, they will help you learn and more importantly they will help you grow.  For this episode, Lesh Zareba and I discuss just that.
