Following national security concerns, the UK has joined other countries in banning government employees from using TikTok on government devices. Microsoft is introducing AI-powered features, such as creating PowerPoint presentations automatically from Word documents, to revolutionize productivity. OpenAI gave the Alignment Research Center early access to multiple versions of GPT-4 to evaluate its abilities, while Foxconn has agreed to manufacture AirPods for Apple in India. Baidu launched its Ernie AI chatbot and LinkedIn's GPT-4 provides writing suggestions for Premium users. Finally, the GNOME and KDE Foundations are collaborating to develop an App Store using Flatpak, with support from industry leaders.
