Goodie and JohnnyMo at the Movies

For Episode 17 we are reviewing the latest X-Men movie, Dark Phoenix.  **Spoilers**  This is the second time Fox has tried to do the Phoenix storyline, back with X-Men The Last Stand and now this film.  I think JohnnyMo and I both agree this film is the better of the two and this film is certainly better than Apocalypse.  We hope you enjoy the review and thanks for tuning in!  Please subscribe and follow us on our other locations on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter @goodie_johnnymo!

**Spoilers** in this video. For Episode 16 we are reviewing Godzilla King of the Monsters! JohnnyMo is a huge Godzilla fan and has been looking forward to this movie.  Overall a weak story but amazing visual effects.  The monsters in the movie are fantastic.  A great set up for the next movie in the franchise, Godzilla vs. Kong! Goodie and JohnnyMo at the Movies return with our second movie of the weekend with Episode 15 and we are reviewing the updated live action version of the Disney Classic, Aladdin!  **Spoilers Ahead**  Not a straight forward carbon copy of the 1992 animated film which was a good thing.  They made some changes and updated the film a little bit to their advantage.  Some CGI that looked great in some scenes, especially the animals and others that could have used some fine tuning.  Great musical numbers and a good performance by Will Smith as the Genie!  Thanks for listening to our review and please subscribe to our podcasts/videos/channel on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter @goodie_johnnymo!

Goodie and JohnnyMo are back with two new movie reviews!! For Episode 14 we take a look at Brightburn (**Spoilers**) which is essentially a reimaging of what would have happened if an alien baby landed in small town in Kansas and developed super powers.  But instead of growing up to be Superman, he decides to take a very different path.  A good movie overall that we discuss in depth some of the stand-out moments and a couple things we wish were developed more.  Thanks for tuning in and hope you enjoy!  Don't forget to subscribe and follow us on Facebook and Twitter @goodie_johnnymo!  You can also watch all of our episodes on our YouTube channel!

This movie review has spoilers, you've been warned!  In Episode 11 of Goodie and JohnnyMo at the Movies, we take a look at Shazam!  Both of us really enjoyed this film!  As we thought from the trailer review we did, it's like the movie Big but with superheroes.  A very fun, entertaining movie with some heart in it.  A nice character arc for both Billy, Shazam! and Freddy.  Looking forward to seeing Shazam again in the future DC Film Universe.  Please like subscribe and follow us on Facebook and Twitter @goodie_johnnymo!  Thanks for tuning in!

In our milestone 10th episode we review the recent horror release, Us.  Jordan Peele puts out his 2nd big motion picture and the previews couldn't have done a better job of getting us interested in the film without giving too much away.  JohnnyMo and I go all in and give you an in-depth (spoiler) review.  Please continue to subscribe and follow us on Facebook and Twitter @goodie_johnnymo!  Thanks again for tuning in!

Our final trailer review for Episode 9 bring us X-Men Dark Phoenix.  There has been a lot of behind the scenes production issues/story issues with this film but they give us the best look yet at this film.  And although we feel they give away a pretty big spoiler in this trailer, they still try to hit on the emotional film this may become in trying to decide what to do about Jean Grey.  The final Fox X-Men film is upon us.  Hope you enjoy the pocast!  Thanks for tuning in and as always please subscribe and follow us on Facebook and Twitter @goodie_johnnymo!
