Goodie and JohnnyMo at the Movies

For the second part of Episode 9, we are looking at the most recent and final trailer for Shazam! aka Captain Marvel or in this case Captain Finger Sparkles. This trailer has me sold and with the recent wave of good social media reviews, I'm really looking forward to this movie.  It looks like a lot of fun and laughs and with a 15 year old becoming a superhero, this is what I would expect.  Can't wait to see it on April 5th.  Please don't forget to subscribe and follow us on Facebook and Twitter @goodie_johnnymo!  Thanks again for tuning in!

For Episode 9, we're reviewing four trailers for films that will be released soon.  The first review we're doing is for the recent Avengers Endgame trailer.  Best trailer in our opinions and with the secrecy levels at an all time high for Marvel Studios, after watching this trailer, we can't wait for the film!  Enjoy our latest podcast and  Please don't forget to subscribe and follow us on Facebook and Twitter @goodie_johnnymo!

Here we are at Episode 8 where we review Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel.  Be warned there are **Spoilers**.  Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Marvel put together a fun film that acts as a stand alone film for the most part but has ties to the larger MCU towards the end of the film.  JohnnyMo and I go in depth into this movie that leads into Avengers: Endgame.  We go over some of the things we liked and some of the things that we didn't.  Really good cast with Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Jude Law, Lashana Lynch, Akira Akbar and Annette Bening.  Overall we thought this to be enjoyable and you should go see it and judge for yourselves.  Thanks for tuning in!

It's Episode 7!! In our latest review it's a triple threat.  We will be talking SPOILERS in this podcast so be warned if you haven't seen any of these movies yet or if you don't care about spoilers then please listen away!  We take a look at two Netflix movies, Roma (nominated for Best Picture and Director) and Bird Box (starring Sandra Bullock) and the recently released The Upside (starring Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston).

We also discuss the impact on streaming services on the future of cinema.  If you're looking for just one of these movies, we review them in this order: Roma first then The Upside and Bird Box is last.  Thanks for tuning in!  See you next week at the movies when we review Marvel Studios Captain Marvel!!

In this episode we look back at the 91st Oscars.  We'll discuss some of the winners and nominees as well as look at some of the decisions the Academy took and ultimately decided not to take (thank goodness!!).  We want you to get to know us a little better by asking us questions and/or making comments on our Facebook or Twitter pages.  Thanks for tuning in and please remember to follow us @Goodie_JohnnyMo to see what we have coming up next!

Continuing from last week, here is the top half of our list of favorite films starting with 5 and going all the way down to 1!  We go a little more in depth with our top half but hopefully you'll enjoy our discussion and share with us some of your Top 10 films.  Please remember you can follow us on YouTube @GoodieandJohnnymoAtTheMovies as well as on Facebook with the same name and Twitter @Goodie_JohnnyMo!

Welcome to Goodie and JohnnyMo's list of Top 10 favorite films!  In this podcast we discuss the movies on our list from 10-6 and then in part 2 next week we'll finish up with our top 5.  We hope you enjoy and get further insight into where we come from when discussing film.

Goodie and JohnnyMo are back again doing a very in depth movie review of Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.  We tried to keep this one under an hour but there was so much material to review and discuss, we couldn't help ourselves.  We talk about the risks Rian Johnson takes in this film and which ones we thought worked and which ones didn't.  Play this one in the car on your commute and enjoy the ride!  And as always, thanks for tuning in!  Up next will be our Top 10 list and I can promise our lists will be completely different!

Goodie and JohnnyMo are back at it, this time diving deep into one of our beloved franchises, Star Wars.  We discuss the film and much more in this podcast.  From the days of George Lucas to the new era under Disney.  We tried keeping it under an hour but failed! There was a lot to discuss and hopefully we introduced you to some useful information.  Next week we review The Last Jedi.  We plan on making these shorter to be more enjoyable.  Thanks for tuning in!

In our first episode of Goodie and JohnnyMo at the movies, we review Avengers: Infinity War and the events leading up to it.  This is something we have both wanted to do for a long time and now we are starting this channel to share our joy of cinema.  This ended up being longer than we anticipated but we also took some time to introduce ourselves and tell you a little about us.  We'll be looking to keep our videos under an hour.  Stay tuned for more reviews and movie content!
